Sad that they dislike Jake that much that they won't connect with him again.. He was the most charismatic guitarist Ozzy ever had!! He made guitar seem fun.
Randy was the better guitarist but Jake sure did an Amazing job with the boots he had to fill.. nothing short of phenomenal but for me randy tops the pile.
Not even Ozzy gives a shit for this album. Many fans are used to saying: "oh, The Ultimate Sin is a very underrated album/This is a very underrated song" but the first one to underrate the first to understimate this record is Ozzy himself.
Ozzy have take so much many différents drugs is à real survivor ,and i like it . his voices is so unique in the world of hard rock and for me it is the key to his success, he had great musician too in his solo career !
I remember seeing a quote from Ozzy himself, it said something to the affect: " I don't consider myself to be a particularly good singer, but when everyone hears me sing, they know it's me"....
Many Ozzy's fans are used to saying: "oh, The Ultimate Sin is a very underrated album/This is a very underrated song" but the first one to underrate is Ozzy himself; the first one to understimate this record is Ozzy himself. As for the fans, most of them like this r3cord.
@@Kenobi-xd3oj He is putting some extra notes in the clean chords section(basically he follows the vocal melody line which personally I don t like either) but sloppy? If you think is sloppy probably your hearing is sloppy...and if you are playing the instrument post a video of you playing the song properly ...
The big shoes syndrom. All your predecessors are better.. I had the same with Edward van Halen. (joke!) Gus G. (hate is name though) is doing a great job there.
It's great to see/hear ozzy doing something other than the usual "safe" songs. Randy, Jake, Zakk, Guss.....they are all better guitarists than most or all of us.
Paul Maldonado that’s because when he was with Gus he could safely perform other songs. Ozzy doesn’t sound bad right here, but when you go look at some of his recent stuff with zakk it all sounds like shit. Zakk tries to make up for Ozzy’s vocals and everyone sounds like shit because of it.
I wish he'd play this one more often and drop "Road To Nowhere", "Time After Time" and the same old Sabbath songs. He always has the same set list when I see him. Put in more from great "Ultimate Sin" album!!!
Such fond memories from when I was roughly 8 years old. I would sit with my older brother in front of our old turntable and sing along to this song. He kind of tried to play it with the guitar, but the truth is he was just playing nonsense notes hahahaha. Years passed and now I am the actual guitarist and play this song perfectly. Thank god for giving me such great brothers, with excellent taste in music.
That is so rare and so awesome to see Ozzy pull out this beautiful classic. I absolutely love this song. It's a timeless anti-war song that was so meaningful back in the 1980's with the threat of nuclear war, but throughout the years it always has new meaning, for every few years the threat of dangerous wars and the nuclear scare is always there though we sometimes choose to forget it. In the back of our minds we know someone in some country somewhere is always threatening to send the missles and this world is more fragile than we think. I love Ozzy so much. He may have a few songs about the devil and werewolves and so forth, but since the Black Sabbath days till now he always has songs that deal with scary world issues that threaten mother nature and humanity, life as we know it on this fragile world. The emotions in his songs and Black Sabbath's songs too show a deep unspoken concern for saving ourselves as the human race before its too late, like in "Children Of The Grave". On the other hand, there are other songs about just getting good and wasted and having a rock and roll party, but that's what rock and roll and heavy metal are for, to help us forget about our problems and have fun. The are songs about showing concern for our world and our social problems, but then the other half of the songs are about escaping these troubles and letting the magic of the metal bring happiness, joy, and peace between rockers in various nations around the world, and there are other songs about wizards, werewolves, and gypsies too. But in Ozzy and Sabbath's music there has always been some songs about trying to bring peace and avoid war. Politicians are fighting and pointing missles at each other, but you could send Ozzy anywhere in the world to do a concert, and seems like people in any country would forget about their differences and their arguments and just drink a lot of cold beers and sing along to Ozzy's music. I hope he lives a long long time. Ozzy is my hero.
The same old comparisons. Heavy metal is one of the best styles of music. Headbangers the worst types of fans. Music is not competition. Learn this once and for all.
Ozzy LIVE FOREVER REMEMBER SOME OF US PRAY FOR YOU AND THOSE YOU LOVE SIR!!! that you will receive eternal life and a body of light that shines like the sun and one day you will be layin in the arms of The Son after the Night is done. Live for Eternity !!!
I've listened to this song plenty, Gus does a fine job, don't know what all of you are talking about. He doesn't screw up on some minor things but not enough to "ruin" anything.
Ozzy Osbourne is the best singer ever I ever heard in my life and I wish you could sing in Canton Ohio in the United States of America that would be great to hear you sing
I'd rather watch the madman playing songs like this one than playing the same old ones. That's the real Ozzy band and not Paranoid, Iron man and so on... Thanks for the video mate ;)
"RISE RISE RISE ABOVE BOVE SPREAD YOUR YOUR YOUR LOVE LOVE LOVE DAY LIGHT LIGHT LIGHT COMES. pass it on" dj Keoki pass it on. Keep spreading your love Ozzy eye am on your side OH EYE'M ON YOUR SIDE !!! your best music is ahead of you DON'T LOOK BACK!!!
Love this video ! I'm partial to drumming and the angle you are at you can see ever hit on the floor drum. Randy C was my favorite, but Mike B is just as good. Anyway, thanks for posting !
caralho ele levou esta musica em 2010, não me lembro de ter visto em show esta musica nao e fui nos ultimos shows dele no Brasil, em todos, menos no ultimo e no primeiro rock n rio que eu tinha apenas 6 anos
I saw every tour Ozzy did from 1995 up until the early 2000's. I stopped going because the setlist was always almost identical. I would have loved to hear more deep cuts from the first six albums that he did not do often like this song. There are many songs that Ozzy never did live from the Diary Of A Madman album, Bark At The Moon album, and No Rest For The Wicked album. Songs like Little Dolls, Tonight, S.A.T.O., You're No Different, Now You See It, Slow Down, Waiting For Darkness, Crazy Babies, and Breaking All The Rules should have been on past setlists. Other than Rob Halford, Ozzy Osbourne is one of the greatest frontmen I have ever seen in concert.
@@mistacguitar8007 yep and on this album (ultimate sin) it was Jake E. Lee and Bob Daisley that did most of it, Daisley did the lyrics. Shot in the dark was the only song not written by either, but instead by Phil Soussan, who, along with Randy Castillo, apparently played a part in getting Jake e lee fired
I saw them on this tour when they made their return to San Antonio Tx. I wanted them to play this song so fucking badly... and to find out they played it a few nights later which was this video. (If memory serves me correctly)
Jake E. Lee was my absolute favorite Ozzy guitarist. Don't hate...I thought Randy Rhodes was a master in his own right and definitely far greater than I could ever dream of becoming...but Jake held a place in my heart because he was with Ozzy during my High School years and early guitar years.
