As a daddy of five daughters... I can't even imagine what you've gone through. Reading the last line of what you just wrote has quite literally put tears in my eyes. Good God. I can't even imagine. You know they say time heals everything. Well it doesn't. At the absolute best all the passage of time does is allow us to try to figure out ways to live with things that are different or live with things that we've lost and people. I know that you will never ever ever "get over" that kind of a loss. But I pray that someday... Somehow... You can perhaps make some kind of peace with it. I don't know. I know that there's nothing anybody can say that's going to make that pain any less. It certainly is humbling to read something like that. I have no doubt that someday you will both be reunited. ❤
This was the song my dad had requested to be played at his funeral. He passed before my grandma (his momma) passed as she’s still living. But we played this song for him ❤️ sometimes it makes me cry and other times it makes me smile. My daddy was a huge ozzy fan
Fun fact- Lemmy of Motorhead wrote the lyrics of this song. He jokingly used to say he made more money from No More Tears album than his career with Motorhead
Don´t feel offended but most of the Ozzy and Motärhead Fans know that! And I don´t think this was a joke by Lemmy :) He made more money with this 4 songs from No More Tears than in his whole career with Motörhead!
Out of my 3 kids my son is the only one who calls me Mama. He has been a fentanyl addict for the last years and he lives on the streets. My other kids and I always search for him. My heart is broken when we can’t find him and I pray he is okay. This song reminds me of him, and his “mama I’m coming home” breaks me to pieces. Wherever you are, I love you so much Scott and please come home.
My prayers are with you Chrissie and your son Scott that he comes home safe. Sadly I lost my 31year old grandson who was living on the streets in California to a fentanyl overdose a couple months ago. Don't give up on him 'Mama' 💞
His voice is iconic in the rock genre. I was a big fan since his days in Black Sabbath but the stuff he did with Randy will always be my favorite. The fact that he could sing even when he could not talk just tells you that he has been here for a reason and that reason is to entertain us and boy has he ever.
@@your_huge_ego_bores_me pretty they say this cause of the crazy fandoms and fanatics that want you to know their whole lives and music career to be considered a fan🤦🏻♀️ so most people don't considere themselves fan just because we enjoy the singer's music🤷🏻♀️
Ozzie only wrote vocal melodies. Absolute master at that, but he can't write music or lyrics at a high level. But he's a vocalist not a musician. One of the greatest vocalists who ever lived, on the very, very short list.
Indeed, but if you went to a show on this tour, you might recall that there were buckets of water all over the stage, and whenever possible, Ozzy was grabbing one and drenching the crowd with them. No cell phones back then, so it was mostly fun.
When I was injured in 1989 and just finished with my walker and using a cane, someone kicked it and he had one of his staff come pick me up; I spent the rest of the 'Bark at the Moon' concert side stage.. And just watching him with Jack watching his cover bands and how much he appreciates them; there's never been a bigger heart in Rock & Roll!
His contribution to music is undeniable, and he is recognized as one of the greatest vocalists in the genre. Ozzy is truly an icon of the music industry, and his influence will endure for generations.
@Paranormal Explorer I don't mind that. I've never seen him preform and it's my dream to see him. This kind of is my last chanse to see him. And Judas Priest is still there to kick ass like usual.
He was so fine when he was younger! He has the most genuine smile I think I have ever seen in a performer! I love when he gets so into the music that his body goes right along with it! One question, how is it that I can understand him in the music videos I have watched, but can't understand a word he says now?? 😃💋♥️
I remember being told that Ozzy was literally the Devil when I was a small child in the 80s that he was the worst.... Couldn’t be further from the truth. Ozzy is one of the sweetest caring people the music industry has ever seen. It was all a gimmick to sell records the dude is amazing and one of my heroes.
The prince of darkness' favorite band is the Beatles, and he idolized john lennon, so imagine seeing this blacked out metal god fangirling out meeting sir Paul McCartney one day... I love that video. Its here on youtube... Ozzy took off like a rocket was in his ass, just skated towards paul... Dudes a legend/beautiful human
