Ozzy is not confused trust me he is very aware of everything around him! He’s very intelligent! You probably don’t understand what he is saying! A lot of people don’t understand a word he’s saying so I get why you would say what you said!
A brummie lad and a london lad talking about life, that's why I love being English. I'm from Brum and married a London lass. Best interview I've listen to in ages.
ozzy’s distinct way of speaking is something you get used to, I didn’t understand much when I first started becoming a fan but now I can understand every word
I come back to this from time to time, like dusting off old vinyl. And other Jonesy's Jukebox clips too. Steve's energy and the way it gets every guest to relax into themselves is like the hug we didn't know we needed.
you know, i look at these two men and feel so proud for them - two working class boys who came from nothing and have made it to the very top - and not only that - but theyve left a body of work behind them that will live forever. What more can you ask for in life? Bless them both and i hope they both live long and prosper
so many epic British bands, the Clash, Pistols, Jam, Generation X, X Ray Spec, the Kinks, the Who, the Beatles on and on, the list of boys and girls that came up from meager beginnings is testament that struggles bring out the best in people. Cant think of any great music made by silver spoon cunts.
This is the best interview I've ever seen, it's like listening to two old mates, mulling over the world down the boozer. I wish all interviews were like this, they'd be a million times more interesting than most of the blandness we have today.
Ozzy is one of my favourite people on the planet! He's been a corner stone of the music industry for many years but he's also a very funny and honest man, gotta admire that. NA1974🇬🇧.
everyone pokes fun at Ozzy his speech but tbh I can understand everything he says and he is actually very witty and eloquent. In fact, I like the way he talks. He has a lot of personality.
Can listen to Jonesy's jukebox for hours on end .... He always gets the best guests and his interviews are very conversational.. you feel like you're in the room with him and his guests it's so laid back how Steve works.
Fuck the facelift. He looks great...just proves serious drug use for many, many years, may not beat the shit out of you. Depends on the person and the quality of the drugs. lol--- Now hold on kiddies. Don't get me wrong. Drug use is not too cool anymore so you're probably better off without it.
Maybe we can also give Sharon a little credit for reigning him in in the early 80s when he was pretty well fucked. Ozzy may have been dead before the 90s even began.
John Afella that was actually used in an episode of porridge many years ago when the governor’s new redband prisoner ( trustee) made tea for the governor when he was inside for poisoning his wife lol.
Ozzy looks fantastic. As far as his demeanour goes, he may be a little "off" but my guess it's the meds he's taking to help keep him sober and sane. He's also a lot sharper than the average person thinks. I truly believe he hides behind the Ozzy "character" quite a bit and is probably more on the ball than we all think.
That's true for a lot of rockstars. People automatically assume that because they drink and do drugs (or used to do those things) that they are stupid. But that is totally not the case. They're actually extremely smart and sensitive people. And they live a lifestyle for 25, 30, 40 or 50 years that none of us would be able to handle. I've seen Black Sabbath play an amazing concert earlier this year (their last ever concert in Germany).
Both of em talking bout Lemmy made me tear up. Nobody has ever said one bad word about Lemmy. He truly is one of the nicest guy ever. Really a good interview and Ozzy is funny man. Jonesy said im dyslexic too and he suddenly became posh and said "oh nice to meet you". Cheers Ozzy, Jonesy, raise a glass to Lemmy and horns up for Ronnie. \m/
I wonder why they didn't do a duet. They would've sounded great together. The Elton John duet is nice but Lemmy would be great for a fast rock song with ozzy
After watching this interesting and funny interview I love Ozzy even more. He's so humble and down to earth even though he's a living legend. His music gives me so much energy.
Well I am just watching this now as I am going through Jonesy's Jukebox and listening to all the great shows. I have to say I'm really impressed with both of these men but especially Ozzy. I've liked his music through the years, not loved it. He always seemed to be someone who was not all there, had garbled speech and a troubled life. But I really enjoyed seeing this side of him talking to an old friend. Maybe that was it that he was so much more comfortable than just in interviews. They are 2 men who grew up in hard situations, became famous, went through drugs and all of it but they're still standing, they're still here. It was really a pleasure to see and hear this interview!
This is the absolute #1 interview I've ever seen with Ozzy. Just him and Jonsey, two old blokes shooting the shit. No Sharon butting in or kids hanging around.. thanks for this!
Ozzy REALLY liked that bit where Steve took the piss outta himself saying he's been giving Zakk Wylde lessons... wonder if Steve was thinking "you don't have to find it THAT funny", lol.
Understanding what Ozzy is saying is a special skill that takes time to learn. I can understand about one out of every 5 or 6 words, but once you get used to it you can understand most of what he's saying.
with ozzy, the physical ailments are taking over from the previous 'addiction' ailments. he is getting a bit slower physically but i would say his mind is still sharp - he used to be a buffoon because he was drunk/wasted - now, he may seem so, but it's more the physical side of things that lets him down. and you can always tell that big cheery 'ozzy' smile
How the hell did the Ozzster put out Ordinary man? The guy is a complete legend, PLEASE Ozz, keep going or atleast just stay alive, i thinks thats all we want from you now. Love you man
Growing up with this guy as a kid first discovering Sabbath then his early work with Jake E Lee and Randy Rhoads. I never thought we we get old and we all have haven't we. I just turned 44 yesterday and have been listening to him since the 70s. Long live Ozzy it's really heart warming to see him get old and still get out there and do his thing.
had the first album when it came out ( washed an Hillman Imp for it ). Changed the course of my life . Im 62 now and still wear a Sabbath Shirt and play all their albums 50 years on ( Proud Brummie here )
I dont know what these comments are on about. Ozzy is making perfect sense, yea he gets stuck with some words but he is like 70. And he does look really good for his age.
Gotta love how Ozzy grew up an English kid with the well known rhyme 'remember remember the 5th of November' (alluding to Guy Fawkes) and even when his event's on that date he still makes a pigs ear of it, love 'im
Rolla Coasta Ride dude! i have friends like that after they married....they just give me a "i gotta go man" .....it sux to lose full friendships like that, it's like their moms were a lot cooler than the now wives ha ha ha....
When a singer dies they always call them a Legend! Why does someone have to die to be a Legend? There are a lot of wonderful singers but in all Seriousness, Ozzy Osbourne and Michael Jackson are the Legends! Their careers where very long and everybody absolutely loved both of them! Those two are Legendary ✨🤍🥀🤍✨ RIP MICHAEL 🙏🏽
