As a matter of fact i also have Parkinson's Disease and have had it for 21 years now. No joke! Diagnosed at 35 and now 56 and still kicking, sometimes...lol. Have a motto, NEVER GIVE UP. Hang in there Ozzy. Love you man.
@Scott Kendall You are exactly right PD will not kill you but like you said you could take a bad fall and die that way or a number of other ways. It has been a very rough road with this disease but i just take it one day at a time and i never give up. It helps greatly if you have support from someone close to you as i do now but it was not that way at first. My first wife did not understand the disease and ultimately divorced me. This put a great strain on my kids as well as myself but we all managed to move on. Thank God 7 and half years ago i found the most caring woman in the world that totally understood what i was going through. We are doing very well at the moment.
@Scott Kendall my grandfather lived with as ever since I was born and he helped raising me when my parents had to work. He got Parkinson when he was 80. When the symptoms started to be apparent we tried to give him medication. It slowed it but didn't stop it. And yes you are right, last summer he broke his hip. We helped him get back home but he wasn't the same the rehabilitation period really boosted his dementia. He fell down a couple of times but we managed to make it safe for him. For months everything was ok and suddenly now he has been almost three months in a hospital with pneumonia. It's been hard on me. So yes that disease is no shit. Protect who you love.
Ozzy watching his life pass before his eyes. I’m so glad he included family pics and then there’s Randy Rhoads OMG Tears are flowing. So glad you watched this
This song and this video clip makes me cry as Road To Nowhere did. Man, my reaction for this video was the same of you... As a Ozzy fan, as a Randy Rhoads fan...man I cried a lot and I'm crying right now! And now, living in quarantine, I think the whole world must have this feeling, "we don't wanna die as ordinary men or women". Great hugs from Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil!
When I was working at the Mt. View Mortuary and Cemetery in San Bernardino, California, I once saw his black Cadillac Escalade parked in front of the Randy Rhodes gravesite on Randy’s birthday. I worked inside and I knew the gates were opened specifically for Ozzy to visit his friend on a couple of dates throughout the year. Those visits were usually scheduled for after hours. I had the pleasure of meeting him right before I left for Army in 2007. This song is a masterpiece.
"Well, the drugs were good."- Ozzy responding to a 107.7 the Bone FM radio DJ during a telephone interview when asked if he had learned anything from the accident or the fact he had survived it.
ozzy is a god to me this song makes me cry everytime its my first time seeing the video when ozzy cried seeing randy i lost it i love ozzy now and forever im a 56 year old male marine kel and rich i love you guys
Ozzy Osbourne is the worlds grandpa. He is absolutely AMAZING. And when I heard this song I cried like a baby. So much emotion in this song. I personally think this is the best work he's ever done and all of his music is masterpieces.
I'm hangin' in there with you,but man this hits close! Have a great day R.I.P. Randy and all the ones who went to young. It hurts getting old without them! Peace and Love ferretfret.
I love Ozzy! I saw him live twice. Once with Sabbath and once solo. He still has an amazing voice. Great song. Great video. Great reaction! Thanks guys.
I'm crying all his fans including me just took from Ozzy for our own pleasure,we never once thought about Sabbath and what it took to make us happy.i love Sabbath the greatest band of all time , Ozzy is the greatest front man ever, there is nothing we don't know about Ozzy that's coz he don't hide away from us fans what you see/hear is Ozzy
This video put tears in my eyes as well...not just for Ozzy but for myself..as I watched all the old footage with Randy I started thinking about listening to all these albums as they came out with friends who are no longer alive...it really made me reflect on my life as well...Ozzy really did provide the soundtrack through my teenage years...
One of the most heartfelt reactions I've ever seen. I agree with Kel, the ones that get you aren't the ones you expect. It brought tears to my jaded old eyes also. Lynyrd Skynyrd's song "Simple Man" does it & Blackfoot's "Highway Song" will too.
Ozzy got choked up when he was watching Randy Rhodes who was his guitar player after he left Black Sabbath and Randy died at a very young age and was and could of been one of the best if he didnt guy so earlier!
hope he is ok, with us for many more years. as it reminds me of David Bowie "Lazarus", song and vid, which he died i think days later, as well as "hurt" by johnny cash.. similar vibes. great video and reaction guys.
Hi, Kel-n-Rich, big fan! This is Stephen Lee Carr, the Director/Editor/Producer of Ozzy Osbourne's "Ordinary Man" music video. Thank you for the wonderful reaction to the video, and I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
When will John or Sharon make a public apology for cheating their band members out of the money they should have made? That's what I'd like to know. Wait I already know... never. I just can't listen to him anymore.
@@shashankiyer5751 yeah its ok there...theres also a sabbath bridge too with pics of all of them on this big bench..im like 10mins away. bham is birthplace of metal..judas priest and all those bands are from here..used to be the place for rock but now its dead...only few bars left too where they play rock...sucks now.
Oh great, jolt my emotions strings, after a stressful day at work, Ozzy was pretty much in my whole life, love Ozzy and Sharon, my prayers and blessings go out to him and his family
OZZY has been a huge part of my life. I'm 51. Sabbath when I was a kid. Hopped on the Crazy Train in the 80s. Been a life time fan. Was blessed to see him live twice. As I've grown, Ozzy has grown also. Party. Party. Party..... Oh shit, time to grow up. lol.And the fact that he has no ego is probably why I love him so much. Could've retired years ago. But he does it for the rush he gives us. Please do Road To Nowhere. That one is just as meaningfull to me.
Ozzy is another English national treasure. Mad as a box of frogs, but we fucking love him. Apparently he STILL cant get a proper cup of tea in the hills.
It gets Kel but for people who actually have grown up with Ozzy's music and have known his struggles and how Randy saved his career and was taken away so crually and abruptly it is way more emotional.
Great review as always. This song made me tear up as well. It;s a great song but when you watch the video it really hits home. What a genius idea to have Ozzy watching a video of his life while the song plays on.
I found you because of this video, you're probably the coolest marriage I've ever seen! The video got me to, and I honestly can't imagine a world without Ozzy, but I hope he doesn't get to suffer more than he already has 💚
I think reflective videos are some of the best kind of videos especially for ballads. This is ozzys story which makes the whole video and song package have some pretty good heft to it. It's not the end it's the beginning you might say.
Just wondered if you could check out 3 songs by George Harrison.for this CA girl who's terribly sick with autoimmune diseases...."Beware of Darkness", "Isn't it a Pity", & "All Things Must Pass.". George was ALWAYS underappreciated for his INCREDIBLE contribution to the Beatles, & it was actually great for him to finally split up so he could start putting out some of his stockpile of incredible music! George Martin even admitted that he didn't give George enough credit! Those 3 songs have meaning for the current situation our Country is in as well, and I believe George would be terribly sad at this stage of affairs.
I stumbled upon this video while looking for acoustic covers of this song - as it happens, I lost my daughter in 2019 at a similar age as your son....I recognize the look on Kel's face as she listens to this - I get that too sometimes, certain things pierce straight me to the heart now and this is one :)
Really moving video. Great song. I LOVE the album. Like listening to an old friend. Ozzy is a true original. Saw him with Black Sabbath live once and solo live twice. 🎼🎶🎵♥️🇨🇦
It's an impossible task to summarize a 50 year journey perfectly in under 5 minutes. But this is the closest to perfection in that aspect sonically and visually as it can get. People often forget Celebrities feel the same emotions we do. We, however, have the luxuries they don't have. Of feeling what we do without it being under surveillance 24/7.
Don't feel bad Kel, I cried the forst time I saw this too. It's a beautiful song that envokes emotions. Ozzy has had a colorful life, battled demons that have take far too many from our lives. He is a survivor despite everything. Ozzy is a man, a very extraordinary man.
