@rickstienetheconcertguy.6535 “Crazy Train” “Mama I’m Coming Home” “No More Tears” Ozzy Osbourne Rock HOF 2024 Jelly Roll Robert Trujillo Billy Idol Zakk Wylde Wolfgang Van Halen
@@carlpostuma1469 100% complete and total nonsense . Eddie thought Randy was somewhat of a pest because Randy used to always ask him how he does this and that . EVH was one of Randy's all time favorites according to Rudy Sarzo. Guitar World : Were there any particular players he admired? Rudy Sarzo: Yeah, let me tell you who they were. He really admired Gary Moore and Eddie Van Halen. Those were his top two guys he really, really admired.
Man, Wolf went up there and killed it. I think all of Eddie's fans feel like proud pappas right now. Of course, Ed would be the proudest of them all. Wolf is a truly incredible musician. Ed was not lying when he said that he named him correctly. ❤
Wolf looks great! Amazing musician. My god who woulda thought one day (way too soon) EVH would be gone and his son would step up and just blow our minds. I know he’s NOT his dad but in ways he is exactly his dad. TALENT ❤ Congrats Ozzy! ❤️
@manjufrodo He certainly does. My Mum is a die hard Billy fan so I've grown up with his music. I took her to meet him when he last toured the UK and it was just amazing.
been alot of billy idol hate on facebook so i had to check it out i thought he did pretty damn good, he's old aswell and but still rocking pretty hard!
Nobody can sing like the prince of darness! Nice tribute but i think Zakk should have handled all of the vocals judging how well he does with Zakk Sabbath. Great to honor Ozzy though...we've been fortunate to have him help invent the best music ever! Congratulations Ozzy! \m/ ( >"< ) \m/
For all the criticism Ozzy would get sometimes for not being a technically, great singer, not one person singing his songs here sounded as good as he did.
Totally! I was super surpised and he did an amazing job! Would have never seen that coming! Congratulations Ozzy! You are a global treasure and great to see you get the induction to the HOF you deserve!
No it wouldn't. What the fuck are you talking about? It's widely known that Eddie Van Halen was incredibly disrespectful to Randy rhoads. Randy made several efforts to meet and befriend Eddie only to get shunned every single time. The nonsense some of you people come up with for attention.
I'm not a fan but I'm also not going to hate on the guy. He can 100% sing. Maynard was not in his element at all, and should have done a more melodic song but it's what he was given.
I love the line up.. Wolfie, Maynard, Robert, Zak, Jelly, Billie, Steve, drummer from Chili peppers it was so awesome to see them all play together. 🤘👊
Honestly jelly roll as a singer he’s not good. He’s only popular because he has an intriguing life story and he sticks with more country vibe which is the perfect music for someone who has a story but not the best singing skill.
Congratulations OZZY!! about time they put you in the rock n roll hall of fame But after this we need a jelly roll and ozzy on a song together I think that would be such a historical song I love ozzy I grew up listening to him and I love jelly roll he is so motivational I really think a song with both of them would be really epic
This was a weird listen for me. LOVE Ozzy & I have a soft spot for Jelly, his music HAS helped me through some tough times. Him singing Mama I'm comin home sounded really wrong to me! However the idea of him & Ozzy doing a collab would be AWESOME! His normal style country-ish/rap-ish with an Ozzy chorus!? Yes please!
I have no idea who the Flying V player was, or who the 'Mama' singer was, but cannot complain about the Wolfie, Chad, Rob, Zakk, and Billy Idol line up at all. Although I think most fans would agree Crazy Train, Bark at the Moon, and Over The Mountain would have been a better song selection, and ending with a short Sabbath tune like Paranoid or shortened Iron Man would have pleased fans and corporate media alike!
@@timwelsh2117 I don't know who that is, and with a name like that I definitely don't care to know who he is. Every fan of Sabbath in the world knows they were inducted in 2006, but every fan knows that a Sabbath cover is a true tribute to Ozzy and his live shows.
i thnk the singers were up there cause of their fame, not cause they can still hit high notes, but there were lots of better choices for people to sing these songs. even michael sweet from stryper is still hitting the high notes, and hes about as old as billy idol
Jelly did not do that song justice, there's so many artists that would have vlown that out of the water, sorry like him but not for this. Ozzy is the fucking Prince of Darkness 🤘🤘
Other than Wolfie, Zakk, and the rhythm section this performance was rather lackluster and hideous. Even the crowd was rather quiet. I think everyone was expecting Ozzy to sing at least one song. 👎
Tool Fans not even knowing who Ozzy Osbourne is... Wolf did an awesome job, interesting Wolf van Halen the one who connects his father to Randy Rhoads. Two of the all time greats. Probably the first time Wolf is playing a song written by a man who many millions think was a good if not better than his father.
I will just say it since nobody else will. This was horrible. I've heard bands at county fairs better than this. Also really Jelly Roll? "Let's show we're in touch with the youth maaannnn... who do we get?" "Jelly Roll"
Lol. Maynard is arguably one of rocks more talented singers, Jelly Roll isn't incapable and Billy idol is a legend(if not a little on the old side). The problem isn't the talent per se, it's that very few can sing in the same register as Ozzy so you get what you get really. Though I will agree with you that the vocal qualities aren't great here. I have a feeling these singers could barely hear themselves to tell if they were in key or not on top of just struggling like hell to try and hit those Ozzy notes. While I don't agree they needed *better* singers, they could have definitely brought in some that could emulate Ozzy's voice a little better. Jack Black is a shaky choice, while he's a good singer in his own right, if he can't hit the notes he needs to he tends to do an over the top low falsetto kind of thing for a comedic effect. While that's not always a bad thing I don't think it's what they were going for to induct Ozzy into the Hall of Fame.
@@azwildcats7842 Mama is one of my favorites by Ozzie. Wish they picked someone else with the range and tone to do that song justice. Too bad Ozzie couldnt perform
