I came here after the Metallica episode. The fan had an advantage in the beginning. But Ozzy obviously won in the end. Kimmel just said that to be funny I guess or scare Metallica.
I mean nobody was wrong about the band's name, it was Tony's (and Geezer's) idea like Ozzy said, but they were inspired by the film "Black Sabbath" which is what Rob was trying to say when Jimmy interrupted him
It's a dangerous mix of years and years of drinking and drugs, plus his Brummie accent ;) I've heard some pretty strong accents from around Britain, but I've gotta say Birmingham is one of the hardest to understand for a foreigner
They were both wrong on Kelly's middle name , It's Michelle Lee and Ozzy was wrong about where Sabbath got there name , it was by a song written by Geezer Butler, a member of the band, that was inspired by the 1963 Italian horror film Black Sabbath starring Boris Karloff , Rob was right , the fix was in for Ozzfather
I just came from Jimmy Kimmel about who knows Metallica, and he said that Ozzy got dominated by a fan...so I wanted to look it up. I suppose this is Jimmy Kimmel back in the day? Was this the only game with Ozzy and superfan?
the BAND "Black Sabbath" was named after the movie with Boris Karloff. The SONG "Black Sabbath" was based on a dream that I THOUGHT was because of Geezer Butler-but may have been Tommi Iommi
@@buford1977 the dream is based on the song titled Black Sabbath ... or it might be Fairies wear boots (correct me if I'm wrong), ... but the name of the band itself, "Black Sabbath" definitely came from the movie titled "Black Sabbath". So i guess both Ozzy and the fan were right, but the fan should of won that one, right?

It was the movie !!!!!! Black Sabbath by Boris Karloff that geezer and tony saw and that it was a great name. Geezer mostly. Ozzy remembers it as tony telling him probably . Just goes to show that ozzy doesn't even know his own band history lol
They were very young Tony Iommi said let's name our band Black Sabbath .Ozzy and the other members said okay that's cool so where did they get the name from.. Tony Iommi!! Boris didn't name the band they didn't write the movie... Tony suggested it they agreed

Ozzy is the worst/best person to ever live. He’s done some wicked stuff but his sense of humor, his music, and the pity we take on him makes him one of the greatest people to ever live. He is a legend. Gotta love him!
