I was told in the previous Ratte video that it has 150mm and 360mm of armor. So, the enemy will probably need guns that can pierce 360mm of armor. Otherwise, there is no way no matter how numerous they are.
@@iamd3ad_ang3l10 actually the germans would have bought their own defeat much faster if they built the ratte. Despite its massive firepower, it can't be transported quickly to a battlefield. Also due to its size, it's vulnerable to allied bombers which could easily disable or even destroy the ratte. Also due to the amount of steel it would use, that would massively hit their tank and submarine fleet which were the real danger against the allies.
in full-scale combat The battle should have ended in less than a minute. The P1000 was destroyed by a single 406mm shell from a US iowa-class battleship. If you want to see the change Take 100 P1000's. may be more interesting to follow At least until how long it can be delayed. But the p1000 will never defeat battleships and bombers. You will also lose 3,000 P1000s. Because you can't rule the air and the sea.
I dont think adding more tabks that cant penitrate helprd the US i actually think it hurt them due to the chain reaction of explosion, i think less tanks with stronger guns, maybe tank destroyers or perishings would be better
I am actually German so i can say how to pronouns :ratte So u just say r like normal then a like Castle if u prounouns it britisch than a short T and an e like in the Word: the The Plural is Ratten u pronouns it same but with a n in the end
the calliber of a super bazooka is 88mm so your pretty much firing a tiger or panther round (by tiger i mean the king tiger too because they both have the same gun
A simple gas and oil or flame thrower will take care of the Ratte, gotta remember if your in a bunker... fire will consume co2 that's why the US Army used flame throwers against the Japonese it was the best weapon
The Irony with the Ratte was that while it would have been a credible threat to any vehicle, a couple squads of infantry would have wrecked it by just baording it and either ddirectly entering it or stuffing grenades down every hatch or xhaust pipe. To say nothing of how ships artillery would have bet the ever loving shit out of it.
@@sturmtiger3802 Not nearly as hard as you might think, since the armaments of the Ratte were anti-tank/aircraft so there was very little to stop infantry from boarding it unless it was moving... which it couldn't do very much because it took a ridiculous ammount of fuel to make this city block go any distance to speak of.
@@guitarhausdoesntknowwhatac3285 yes true but you must also remember they dont know the layout then again not really needed and from what i remember is that most ratte designs had no open exhausts and mostly doors to
@@sturmtiger3802 Bud, if there are no open exhaust vents then there is no way for this thing to vent which means that it literally can't move. Also it probably gasses the crew to death. As to not knowing the layout, that's fine since they don't need to search through every square inch of this thing, just open some hatches and dump hand grenades in. Or cut into the fuel tank with thermite. Like, all the problems of the Elephant are only made more and more apparent by the Ratte.
Hi, this is Lyle. I am using my moms computer, i have been watching your videos for a while. You should do a battle with the P100 vs. the P100! Thanks!
honestly can any of these actually pierce the armor? also why aren't the ships firing? also a ratte vs. alot of tripods would be cool, just never saw one of the rattes go down so...
U.S. Commander: Come on men! They can kill some of us, but they can't kill all of us! Tank Crewman: Uh sir, why can't they kill all of us? U.S. Commander: Oh, uh I didn't think about that.
