So freaking cool!!!! Elliot is a buddy of mine and i was STOKED when i found out he was going to maiden this bird! Congrats to the team. You have a gorgeous lil bird on your hands! And it sounds awesome!
So beautiful to see it in its natural habitat. A huge accomplishment that not many new replica warbirds make it to. Can’t wait to see what the future brings. Next we need Verner to make a “Double Wasp” style with reduction gear so we can have P-47s and Corsairs. In the meantime we will enjoy this lovely little Hawk.
Fan-damn-tactic!! Can’t wait for the P-40 version as well 😎👍 With only a few minor cosmetic changes, you could also produce an F6F Hellcat version based on the same core design. So much win! 🏆
Looks great, sounds equally great, a s a personal preference I would like a bit more HP but you deal with the cards you get. You guys have done a fantastic job on this aircraft. Will be great to see a couple of these on the Replica Fighters Flight line at Oshkosh.
P-36 and the P-40 share the exact same fuselage and airframe. This is a P-40 as well and Scalebirds advertises it as such. All you need is an inline engine to put it on! We all love the P-40.
That plane is totally awesome sounds great!!! but whoever did the filming on the ground needs to go back to ground school and learn how to use a camera
I love SCALEBIRDS aircrafts! This one was pleasurable to watch. I wish I could own one and fly, but I don't have $120,000 laying around to spend on one and the F.A.A. won't let me get my pilots license and pass a F.A A. Physical on the account of having a ministroke in 2002 and a heart attack in 2003 and also having a degenerative nerve disease called Charcotte Marrie Tooth Disease.🤬 Does anyone know how the heck am I going to fly if the Communist Socialists in the F.A.A. keep killing Aviation?
Our goal is a complete aircraft for $75k. Can't help with the medical, but if you can go basic med you may have a chance. Otherwise - stay tuned. I have an ultralight version in mind.
@@samwatrous6442 Ultralight version? Okay! That I might be able to fly with a light sport license and a driver's license required. I don't know about a physical for it.
What a great hawk ! Brilliant effort and detailing :) I wonder how long did ‘the ground roll to take off’ take ? And one more thing, where can we see p40 in the air ? 🫡
