Well, I still don't think that the Hulk has a way to kill Doomsday. He would probably turn back into Banner in the fight, then get eviscerated and evaporated by Doomsday.

no they didn't lol. That's not how it works with him, he's literally grown a new head before. You simply can NOT kill him, at best you can get him to temporarily nap or something, but he'll just reform when he wants to. The immortal hulk series got into it more and explained it more, but he essentially can just go back into his body immediately if he wants. Only times he was "dead" for a while is because at first he didn't know how it all worked but as he went on he figured it all out, then there was a few times he didn't pop back up right away because he was dealing with shit on the other side of the green door, which has all since been resolved so he can just pop right back up the moment you take his head.

Regular hulk has been immortal, they didn't need to title him as immortal hulk for it. Hulk just didn't know about it yet, so there was no reason to see it spelled out for us, though they did drop some clues here and there.

even then they were still wrong. They made up the shit about overwhelming his healing. It honestly doesn't make a bit of sense at all lol, it's never been a thing that's been shown to happen or even mentioned in the comics as a possibility. They just saw him go from hulk to bruce and assumed they knew why, and made it a weakness instead of what really happened. He honestly just chose to revert when fighting sentry, because HIS energy was all spent and he was going down, so staying hulk would've killed him. People that read his comics could tell this by the green glowing eyes. Only happens when he's struggling with the hulk.

Supes is limitless to an extent but Goku is not.

realistically he could even back then. DD doesn't get immune, regardless of the nonsense skrewattack says. Never ever has. He's only grown more resistant to the way of death he experienced up to the point that killed him. This is proven by the fact he's been killed by brute force at least 3 times. Meaning if you hit him with 10,000lb of force and kill him, when he comes back 10,000lb of force doesn't break him, however you hit him with 100,000lb and that's a new ballpark, then he comes back resistant to that and you need more and more every time. If only there were a character that could just keep increasing in strength to hit him harder and harder until he exceeds his durability... On the flip side, they made up that shit about overwhelming his healing factor, that literally can't happen. We've never seen DD hit hard enough to destroy the planet they're standing on, so Hulk without a doubt can hit him harder than he's ever experienced.

@@colecampbell1906 well that's the thing about deathbattle is they take all versions of the character and roll them up into one so it's hard to find consistency on how strong a character is and what are there weaknesses hence why some variations of doomsday maybe defeated with brute force but another version can be completely resistance. Not saying hulk has no chances of winning but depending on the version of doomsday could determine who would win. Know what I mean

@@masonhall2297 I know what you're getting at, but I'm pretty positive they've usually said they pick specific versions for the fight just to keep that shit in order. However, it seems like certain characters they try to give an advantage by making them composite which is complete bullshit if they aren't gunna do it for both. Unlike DC, Marvel hasn't done a bunch of reboots so all 616 feats are valid. With DD they'd need to decide on which version he's fighting, but none of them are completely immune to brute force, his basic power set has always been the same, coming back with higher resistance to what killed him but not a full immunity. There's 1 version that does adapt on the fly that'd be a tougher fight but tbh if hulk was going all out from the start he'd still be hitting him millions of times harder than he's ever been hit and I don't think he'd be able to survive the attack in order to adapt. One good punch and it's goodbye universe, which he's never felt anything close to that tbh.
