Pink is one of the most underrated singers/songwriters of our generation and no matter what she does, she never gets the recognition she deserves. That is why I'm sad the flu took the best part of her, which is confidence, now that she finally got a chance to show the world what she's capable of. I still think she did great under the circumstances, and while keeping her fan base, I'm sure she gained a whole new one. Haters will hate, but let them, it's the only thing they got. And may I suggest we gather all of them in a big choir and make them sing the anthem next year?!

Now the world knows why she has 3 Grammys. !!!!!!! Pink is phenomenal. A brilliant , inspiring performance. I am not an American but this brought tears to my eyes !!

Considering how sick she was, she actually did quite well. Girl had me worried with those advanced warnings, I thought she was going to come up there and just be gargling salt water the whole time lol. Don't get me wrong, I'm very much a supporter of 'If you can't do it because you're sick, don't push it and bring in the sub'. But for the most part, this was a fairly solid performance- but you could tell (if only for a brief moment), that she was quite disappointed when her voice cracked on that top part at the end. People who follow her and listen to her music know she is a solid singer, so this must have been very heartbreaking to have to give a service announcement in advance about being sick. But despite that, she did very well in comparison to other people who have gone on to perform while sick. Normally, I would give a hard pass to people who try to do such a thing, because most times they do sadly crash and burn (because they're freaking sick), but in this case, save for a few notes here and there at the top, she gave a nice performance.

It's not an easy song to sing, and Pink KILLED IT! AMAZING VOCALS! I'm tearing up with pride.

This was a return of the Whitney style of singing the national anthem. No embellishments but with sincerity from the heart. Thank you Pink!
