So it's September the 1st and we were back in Southampton to board P&O Arvia for our two week Mediterranean cruise . We left home at approximately 8.45 am as we had a boarding time of 13.30 . Everything went quite smoothly regarding the journey , but it was very busy at the entrance to Ocean Terminal .We parked with CPS , a charge of £234 for the two weeks .
Getting onboard went very smoothly , so in no time we were having a quick drink in the Glass House .
Before long we got the message that our cabins were ready , also our luggage arrived very quickly . We met Edwin our Steward who turned out to be brilliant .
We then headed to the Sky dome for the sail away , but made sure we didn't over stay our welcome as we had to get ready for our Restaurant booking in Green and Co . This restaurant is one of our favourites , mostly plant based food , presented so nicely .We try and book a restaurant for the first evening as boarding day can be a bit busy and chaotic in the main restaurants.
After Green and Co we caught a bit of pulse in the Clubhouse before ending the evening in the Crows nest . So that ended our Boarding day on Arvia , ahead of us were two weeks of hopefully sunshine , and visiting great destinations
