What a great vlog, very good overview of the food selections on board. All of it looked yummy, expect the buffet. I guess staff shortages were to do with it only being half open. Some great food shots and the audio mix was spot on ❤
Yes, staffing in the cruise industry is very much an ongoing issue. I feel bad for those working onboard as they are having to work 2 roles more often. Thanks, I am trying to get better at all of this 😂

One of the most Awesome things while on a cruise is Definitely All the food!!! Lol Everything looked Amazing!!! My Family always prefers our steak Very Well Done while Noel wants it even more well done! Lol. He likes it crispy!!! Lolol I have a weird child! Lolol We prefer sit down as well, but if we're extremely hungry, we wouldn't mind buffet style! Lol Totally loved all your views and info! The food on P&O can be classic, that banana split was so nice. I think that you would enjoy it, I’ve heard the newer ships are more modern so that will be interesting to experience.
I am hungry after watching this! We aren't huge buffet fans for the exact reasons you stated. We always prefer someone serving the food over self service. Everywhere else looked like high quality tasty food. Afternoon tea looked impressive too! Love that Jolly Olly was only a 4.8%, I prefer those lower gravity beers.
The buffets are usually fine for snacking but I do prefer a proper sit down meal. Afternoon tea was incredible, so nice as a treat. That beer can only be found on P&O which is a little bizarre as it’s brewed not to far away from me. Looking forward to having it again on my next sailing.
I don't really like buffets because I can't control my appetite! ^ ^ Afternoon tea is beautiful, but I only need it when I am free! All the foods stimulates my appetite! My favourite part of the cruise is all of the food! This looks so delicious, wow that steak looks amazing. I love my steak medium rare. Yum! I've never actually eaten at an Indian restaurant before, but this looks so good!! The masala looks so good, amazing this was one of your best meals EVER! Now I'm super intrigued, wow! Indian ice cream looks lovely too. Awe I love that they serve afternoon tea on the ship. The dining room tips are great! Food looks good too. The mushrooms in puff pastry look incredible. The buffet really is small! I'm not a buffet person at all, we always check it out but then end up leaving to go to other spots haha. We hate the zoo too. It's just too chaotic. Fantastic food review!
I would highly recommend trying Indian food, there’s just so much variety and it doesn’t have to be hot and spicy unless you like food like that. Medium rare is how I like my steaks too, not sure I could eat it well done though. The buffets on ships are usually better than on land but not on this one. Luckily the MSR’s were excellent. Great vids factual not trying to hard thanks. Got our 1st cruise next Sat round the Canaries any tips on navigating round the ship. Looks like a rabbit Warren were on Riviera deck.
Many thanks, I find the best way to get to know your way around the ship is to try and explore as much as you can on the first day. If you’ve not seen my ship tour then feel free to check it out before you go. I tend to find a couple of go-to places onboard and stick to those. I really enjoyed The Glass House and Planet Bar of a evening for a drink. I hope that you have a fantastic cruise!
thanks for the review although i didnt see any fruit mentioned or cought on camara. I love the buffet fresh fruit section on other ships but you only showed fry up for breakfast in the buffet. was there any fruit and cereals? i dont eat fried food often.

Thats a really good price for the Beach house and the food looked lovely. The Indian looked awesome too. Oh wow the afternoon tea was stunning. I think if I went on the Azura I would put on a stone lol. Haha with the Jolly Olly.
Omgosh! Wow, it looked like you had a really great job. You did a perfect job displaying the beauty of the ship, the nuances of each restaurant and making it still sound warm and inviting; superior but not stuffy at all though I admit I'd avoid that raggedy lukewarm buffet altogether. Many thanks. I was really surprised as I’ve been on much older ships that had far better buffets. Hopefully the refit will improve this area of the ship.
All in all I would say that’s slightly disappointing? I’m due on the Azura in Jan24. I have booked anytime dining, what does that mean? Does it mean the Peninsular restaurant? Or the other ‘club’ dining place? Both looked to be very good, as I prefer to be served breakfast etc than queue up for it. I’m not crazy about sharing tables, like you, but I could get in with it. Thanks for the vid, it’s very informative, just what I was looking for.
Anytime Dining means you can eat in either of the Peninsular or the Meridian restaurants and you can either queue up or join a Virtual Queue on the My Holiday app. To be honest, we just waited for a table for 2 to become available which was never too long. The food in general is very good, not huge portions and stay away from the buffet! Many thanks for watching and I hope I’ve answered your questions but if there’s anything else please let me know.
Thank you for the video. The buffet looked very disappointing and a mess, it would feel like being in a zoo. Definitely going down hill since my last cruise with P&O. I will be avoiding the buffet unless it improves when I go on Azura later this year 😢

I'd say we'll do MDR for breakfast and dinner with a quick sandwich or wrap picked up in the buffet at lunchtime... One thing - is there an option for breakfast in your cabin too? Sounds like a great plan, the buffet is also good for a late night snack too. Are you planning on trying any of the Speciality Dining options? Yes, room service breakfast is available. It’s a Continental room breakfast and is included at no extra cost. It can be ordered by completing the breakfast order card in your cabin the night before. Many thanks for subscribing ☺️
