What a joy to be able to 'share' your Caribbean adventure. I loved the colonial feel of many of the islands, and admired the courage of the 'chorus' and their stirring rendition of Les Mis! Brilliant!
We are boarding Barbados 2nd February 2019 sailing around the Caribbean to celebrate his a my 70th birthdays. My 60th was spent in the chemo chair so this is a really bug deal. So looking forward to it and your diary has made me realise what a fantastic time we will have.
Tracey Pearson Thank You Tracey, I think for your first cruise BRITANNIA is a good choice. Plus P&O make it very easy by flying direct to Barbados, and you transfer straight from plane by bus to ship, luggage is transferred direct, so you don’t have to handle it at all once you check in at your home airport next time you see it, it’s in your cabin. You only go through immigration once the cruise is finished and you do that on the ship, makes it all very easy. Whatever you decide I hope you have a fab first cruise, the first one is always special. 😀👍
Good video - brought back some memories there - especially the part with the Pitons - we had lunch one day in a restaurant in-between the two of them plus the approach to St Lucia airport takes you past them for a good 10 minutes - great to see them from land and sea but best from the air
What a marvellous video . You had the bloody hairs on the back of my neck standing up lol Now that has definitely wet my appetite for Britannia on Dec7th 2018
Thanks Scottylass15 , what a great vid , better info than P and O ! . Boarding on the 20/1/ 18 for our ruby anniversary and we hope we have a good a time as you guys , we can't wait !
Fabulous video! Great holiday :) My mum and I were both in the Les Mis choir. Brilliant to see a recording of it! My mum is the lady in the pink at the end of the row singing a short solo. I'm not visible as I was hidden in my wheelchair.
Boarding on March 17th in Barbados to sail around the Caribbean then back across the pond to Southampton. Can't wait. Your video is fantastic well done. Looks like you had an amazing holiday.
the only downside is ,i have to go to manchester, theres no glasgow flights,i looked at youre footage , and you gave me some great ideas of some of the beach tours i missed, many thanks
john dalziel Yes there are two flights in November from Glasgow this year but none in December. Shame about that, each year they are reducing the amount of flights going from Scotland. 😕
its as we are getting punished, ive got a deal on a balcony on d deck, but i have to go down to manchester, iam going on 8th sat dec, thanks again for youre reply, mary
I know John, I am sure there will come a time when we only get a couple of flights from Scotland during the whole Caribbean season. It is great for us though to get away from the cold to that hot Caribbean sunshine, just love it.
You are welcome Jeremy, I am sure you will have a lovely time, it is very special being on a ship at Christmas time. Lucky you to bring both Christmas and New Year in on board.
What present did you get? I got a snow storm in a shake the snow thing on Azura. You were flying back to the cold when I had another 5 days left. Last year I got P&O Monopoly , Still got both, still in there box.
Just flew back from Britannia last night John, it was another fantastic cruise, just love the Caribbean, look forward to yours no doubt you will have a ball, like we did.
Flew home yesterday from Britannia in the Caribbean John, it was hot, hot, hot 30-32 deg. most days with some showers. Another fabulous cruise. Enjoy yours when you go.
@@johndalziel6494 We had a wonderful cruise John, been cruising the Caribbean since 1995 and never tire of it, every cruise is always slightly different from the last. No doubt you will have a ball too.
