This is the isolated vocal track from our cover of P.S. I Love You, see the full cover here: • P. S. I Love You | Ins... Neil Candelora - Paul's Vocal Tyson Kelly - John's Vocal Andrew Bockelman - George's Vocal
Yes, George sings the one-word harmonies alongside John on every verse, usually taking the higher register (especially when Paul sings the lead a bit lower). What I love is that in order to achieve a certain attack in the sound of the melody, when the song starts Paul and John sing the chorus in unison (getting that beatle sound from the first recordings), but then in the remaining choruses all three sing and George takes the main melody, while the others harmonize higher and lower. I think they are small details that mean a lot in the way the song is made and what effects it produces when we listen. PS: the harmony of the last verse where they all sing together is beautiful and George's part is a brilliant complement.
The vocals on this album is lovely. I would really enjoy seeing you guys do Anna or Baby It's You. Ooh or Do You Wanna Know a Secret. My favorite is Please Please Me.
I don’t think he is, we didn’t record it like that at least. Tyson stays low the whole time and George does the middle, don’t know why they would switch every other word
Dude this is why I absolutely love Neil so much. This it truly what made the Beatles stand out and you guys have truly mastered it. You all should be proud.
