You have a p-value greater than 0.2 or whatever the lowest alpha-value listed on your table.

@@joshemman the lowest value I have is 0.1 so I know it’s greater than that. Then using the 1 - 0.1 I get 0.9. Then my teacher said it’s between 0.5 and 0.9. But I don’t really get how you can you use the 1 minus trick in this situation and additionally how we got 0.5

@@Cwalt17 Your teacher probably used software. You can also get a p-value of 0.700 if you type this into Excel or Google Sheet: =T.DIST.2T(0.404,6)

You have to use software for the t distribution. For Z, you can use tables.
