The FREE open source plugin, Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) rules! This is a Matchless and a Band Master capture I made in stereo with other plugins for effects.
@@dickjonesify p&w music with Nam ...I mean is not that I dont like metal but I am tired of metalheads all the time in youtube...I love to see this kind of music made with nam . Keep on the good work mate
Hello, I try to install NAM in Garageband and don´t run... do you know why? Your software in the video is Logic Pro, correct? Do you had problems to install? Thanks
I believe I had Guitar Rig 4 doing a compressor and light overdrive and then stereo with a couple delays. After that they hit a stereo bus with the Neunaber Wet Reverb plugin followed by two NAMs and a cab. Pretty sure I had a studio reverb after all that, Liquidsonics Seventh Heaven is great. As far as making this into a song… It already is and it’s not mine haha. It’s called Praises (Be Lifted Up) by Bethel Music. Lots of nice guitar tones and parts on that album.
Sounds great! How do you feel this compares with your FM9 for achieving these kind of tones? Also super curious about your entire signal chain, ie what is the limiter is doing, how your delays are set, and noticing your running your reverb in between amp and cab, as well as another reverb after. I currently run Helix Native in a live setting at church using my laptop but I'm curious about switching to NAM with other plugins
Thanks Louis! And great questions. I love the FM9 for a lot of reasons, I mostly found this to be a fun challenge staying “inside the box”. I will say that as much as I love the Fractal, NAM has a “feel” that is loving, whereas Fractal’s amp are a bit stiff in comparison. That said, this is a capture OF a Fractal amp and a capture of a TONEX amp hahaha. The limiter is just keeping the boost from Guitar Rig from giving me nasty clips. It was on the edge of too high. Just a little insurance. Delays… I would have to check if I saved this season to say for sure. I think I had a Memory Man followed by a Space Echo that was more subtle. As for the two reverbs, I like my “effect” reverb in stereo in front of the amps like it would be on a board. The Liquidsonics is then taking that signal post cab and giving me some ‘in the room’ feel.
