Like your video. I am not familiar with EVAP. You have taught me on it by, first present the problem, the got into the EVAP mechanism, then did a methodical approach, first gas tank, then checked the valve. Very easy to follow. So did it stay off ? These Ecu run test and this code can take up to a week and an series of drive cycle test to pop back up

Was it a permenent fix or the code appeared again? I've been doing the same thing to my Nissan every 3 to 5 months. I just clean it, erase the code and I'm good to go for another couple of months without any codes.

Hi! Loved the video. I’m getting the same error code (emissions large leak). My gas cap just keeps turning when I try to turn it shut all the way. Do you think this is the reason for the error code and do you think I have anything to worry about? Thanks in advance!

I got a 08 hyndaui elantra and it had a 0441 code. So i replaced this whole valve in your video. But now 3 days later i got a 0455 code. Gas cap seems fine. Im not sure what could be wrong now.

Can you explain why dirt would effect the leak? Does the dirt prevent the solenoid from closing completely? Would just canned air work? I would like to clean mine this weekend but don’t know if i should just use air or use chemicals

Maybe the previous owner cleared the code just before selling the car.
