Impossible de démarrer la pompe avec le diag. Après démontage de la pompe comme vous, mise à jour additif et effacement des erreurs BSI ça fonctionne ...Merci encore et félicitations :)
C3 mk 2 here, was not a one bolt job for me unfortunately. Got 2 of them off but was defeated by a riveted clip. Decided to take just th bottom half of the box off instead (3 spring quarter turn screws)
Hi, I need your advice on my Citroen DS4. The car has 2 major issues; 1st this same error "SERVICE" light and "Engine fault: Please repair is on 2. The Auto gear has stopped working. I am using the manual at the moment. I did a scan and was told since the manual still works, then the gearbox is fine but the Auto gear selector needs to be replaced. I was also told the fuel additive pump needs to be replaced. I got the part number for the gear selector and was able to get a replacement part on eBay but I can't get the part number for the additive pump to know which to buy online as the price the garage is charging is about £750 for the two.
I do not have "special functions" option so I'm unable to make it as if I changed the pump, even if the car is fine. Is there any other way around this?
My C4 has this issue. However only comes on during long journeys and after half an hour maybe. My mechanic has topped up the fluid yet it still remains. The warning appears for between 5 seconds and maybe two minutes before disappearing, then will beep and appear again. Also, this usually occurs when accelerating at higher speeds. Any ideas? Thanks.
HELLO, CAN YOU HELP ME. I HAVE A CITROEN C-ELYSEE DIESEL ENGINE. A FEW MONTHS AGO I FILLED THE BAG WITH FAP ADDITIVE. NOW A NEW FAULT APPEARED TO ME, THE ENGINE FAULT LIGHT TURNED ON AND I CANNOT ACCELERATE THE CAR OVER 90 KM. THE COMPUTER GAVE ME THE ERROR P1434 WHICH MAKES REFERENCE TO THE ADDITIVE SYSTEM AND THE PUMP. IN THE WORKSHOP THEY REMOVED THE PUMP AND TESTED IT AND IT RUNS PERFECT. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO GIVE ME A SOLUTION AND THE FAILURE CONTINUES. COULD YOU GUIDE ME? THANK YOU
No sadly not, they are there to help lower the temperature at wich the dpf regenerates, turning it off would shortly block the dpf so if it's on get it sorted fast!
