#OBDCodeP1682 #ignition1SwitchCircuit2 P1682 Ignition 1 switch circuit 2 [SOLVED] This is very informative video on obd code P1682 on GM cars and trucks found lose connection between fuse and fuse box.
2010 malibu here... also a chevu product. Thanks for this inisight. We are having an intermittent issue identical to this. Runs fine then drops to limo mode randomly as well and this makes perfect sense that there is a bad connection. Probably not the relay.
Thank you for the video I bought a truck that has that code P1682 and in my case it was missing the fuse so after the fuse was installed problem solved
What i share is non common problem every one knows ignition switch is under steering column. This fuse was causing that problem so i share it hope you understand!
In case u are still having issues. Usually the fuse box has all the fuses labeled on the lid if u open it and look. Or look up a fuse box diagram for your vehicle. It is usually the fuse for your ignition
My fuse labels are a little different so it’s not totally obvious but unfortunately it won’t start at all right now. We did finally start narrowing it down to a power supply issue on a particular relay.
@@dazariogibson7470 that's good. Remove connector from all components even oil level sensor then replace fuse and try to crank engine connect back connector one by one then see which component is short. No need to remove connectors from cam or crank sensor
