How quickly does it take to convert a P320 from a full size .40 to a compact 9mm? About 15 seconds. And no, this video was not sped up. To learn more about our striker fired pistol, the P320, head over to sigevolution.com.
Any updates on the kits? I'm ready to plunk some cash down for a 320, but want to make sure I can do some conversions... primarily from a .40 C to a 9mm C, and would love to take both down to a sub compact for my wife, with small grips... Maybe I'll just have to buy a couple separate guns instead....
jconradh it has been even longer and they are not making most of the models in 40 S&W or 357 Sig either. everything is 9mm. Probably because of the Army contract.
Hello, very smooth operator. So, does this kit come as the opposite? Sig P320 Full 9mm to 40 cal full..? I actually want a 10mm conversion kit, but there seems to be some confusion on that. What say ye..?
Get the kits out, I'd like to take my 9mm FS down to a 9mm C. Also, any word on the rumored re-contoured trigger coming out soon to alleviate the rare slap/bite some people experience?
Is there any time table on when the conversion kits will be available? I have the 320 C in 9mm, I'd love to make it a .357sig. Also are there any other striker fired pistols in the future for Sig?
When you switched the caliber, how do you store the other parts? cleaned an oiled and put in a bag? or cleaned and dried put in a bag? I'm new to firearms so yea...Thanks!
Dear Sig Sauer, it would be nice if you had P320 conversion kits on your website to do such conversions as shown in this video or a multitude of other conversions, such as converting a P320 Compact into a P320 RX Carry. It appears you only have the option to buy a kit to convert any P320 into a P320 Sub Compact 9mm (SOLD OUT of course). So, where are these kits that would allow you to turn your P320 into any other configuration of the P320 that you originally implied the P320 would be capable of? I mean, have you really become as bad as that other company that promised conversion kits for it's rifle and never followed through (cough, cough, ACR)???
Trying to find out if i can change my p320 in 45acp to compact and or subcompact in 45 acp and how? No caliber change just size of gun. I dont see where i can buy the slide. They sell the grip mods.rrcoil springs and barrels. Anybody?
I wish Sig had followed through on their marketing promises that the 9mm model could convert to .45acp. When it was announced that they weren't going to be able to make this conversion happen, it substantially reduced the value of the gun for me.
So if I wanted to fire the 9mm, 40, 45 and.357 ammo I would need to own 4 different exchange kits? I dont understand. So if you buy just the normal sig p320 it only fires 9mm ammo and then to fire the other ones I need to buy seperate kits, or does this kit then allow me to fire the 3 other types of ammo? If i want to fire all the kinds of ammo that this gun can shoot how many kits would i need???? thanks
You dont need a kit for each caliber. You do however need the correct barrel for the caliber you want to shoot. But, supposedly you cannot shoot a .40 or .357 barrel with a 9mm guide and spring, per Sig. For example: If you have a full size p320 9mm and you want to shoot .40, you would need a new full size .40 barrel, and guide and spring to drop in your slide. Possibly 9mm magazine (still in the process of confirming that the magazines are universal, I have read on forums that they are). You wouldnt need a new slide or frame. If you have a full size p320 .40, you could simply swap the .40 barrel for the 9mm barrel and go to town. .40 mags will load .357 rounds no problem. Same thing going from .40 to .357 or vice versa, you just need the barrel. Pretty awesome!
+Adam Cicigoi the kits come with everything you just change the trigger assembly. the trigger assembly is considered the "gun" because thats where the s/n is engraved. its essentially like buying another gun (the kits) but way cheaper than another gun. Sig found a major loophole and i love my p320. the only part you need a federal firearms license to purchase is that trigger assembly.
