Hello Captain. Just asking, how reliable is the CALC VNAV Function? In my experience so far, I never use it and prefer the good old V/S and SPD management manually configured by the pilots.
hi, i'm trying to insert the FMC into the virtual cockpit as in yours but on my 737-8. could you help me? I don't have the correct numbers of the position of the FMC in the virtual cockpit... by the same way, could you make a tutorial about that? Tobin276 As this is a freeware, it isn't very complex... I think there are payware fmc's like this with more complex systems and then you can add waypoints, but on this one flight planner ;) I always recomend pmdg aerosoft or others advanced paywares for more realisim! cheers!
Which addon you used for sun rays in the cockpit, also where is the VNAV button in the default boeing 737 of FSX . Please tell me. By the way, awesome tutorial. Helped me a lot. Subscribed you. :)
There isn't any addon, it's just p3d flight sim! And, in the default 737, no vnav button, but turn on gps mode and just. nav button! ;) It will be as a vnav! but I really recomend you pmdg's 737 for max realism!👌👌

Guys, why when I click on calculate the flight plan after setting the altitude the speed is already higher than the speed of the plane? I mean, it calculates me 420 knos and when the plane gets to this speed it always gives overspped, so i need put manually?
this fmc works otherwise fine, but holds don t seem to be possible. i thinkthere is another version on avsim and I will try that. maybe the hold function is ok with the newer version ?
6:11 I have different choices (instead of sll and cle for me it's crowe and prino) , so I'm wondering if it matters which to choose? If it does matter, which should I use. Thanks!
It really doesn’t matter, they both essentially do the same thing. Although it does select different waypoints for the approach, but it would still put you on your planned runway. I didn’t see this in the video, but usually you would also have another option called “vectors.” You’ll wanna select vectors, because that programs all the approaches you had as an option.
Can this be used to fly RNAV approaches on VATSIM? I want to be able to fly RNAV approaches in the default or freeware aircraft without pausing in midair to enter all the STAR waypoints for the assigned approach.
Philip McNiel You can't for the simple reason that fisrt of all Fsx/p3d airacs are old unless you update them... I know that there's an add-on that is like a default gps, but with airacs updates and u can fly sid / stars etc... so this might be your solution, the only thing is to spend some bucks 😅 but not too much!
Pues yo lo tengo en los aviones es default, los copie manualmente, en la carpeta panel de cada avión, me sirve todo pero nunca me salen los arrivals o departures.....hay una manera de instalarlo de otra forma?
+Alejandro Abadia hay aviones que ya lo llevan incluido, busca en simviation por ejemplo un 737 con advanced cockpit... alli te sale como en este, pero tendria que salir!

In the manual, it says that you can add SIDs and STARs, but maybe it means separately? I'm going to look at other things to see if there's a way to load it. Thanks for you help!

i use this FMC on an airbus a320(freeware). So i stop on the step which VNAV is down and right. When i started i press the loc button but it didn't follow the route. Where is my mistake or what do i have to press to follow the route ? thanks nice video !
