P3tool is Windows developed software, which allows accessing and manipulation of the CEM config of all P3 platform Volvos, thus allowing various retrofits/upgrades to be possible, from start/stop function disabling to TFT retrofit and so on. The software has a CEM PIN decoding function, which is neccessary step before you can access the CEM. More details are included in the video!

Hi , during cem pin decode do i havr to keep car in key position 2 or 1 ? , i have volvo v40 cross country.

Neither. Just plug in the Dice (or whatever you use) and use P3Tool to connect to the car. Then start them CEM Pin search. The vehicle will appear absolutely dead during the search and will only respond again when pressing the Disconnect button in P3tool.
