I agree with your husband. Usually us western people go out to dinner to relax and be waited on not to cook our food. These type places are called buffet and are "all-you-can-eat" places here. Filipino's here love them as well. I believe they like to get a lot for their money.

Ohhh I love hot pot and grill but this is unsanitary at all.. I hate the concept that people can just pick up the tongs and put em back.. I’m sorry but that’s not cool.. even if there’s no covid this concept is unacceptable.. would you mind and please tell em that just give out each table at least one tong or two instead?That way you touch your own tong….anyway, we like your video.. it’s like I’m in Cebu also watching it..

In the US we went once to a Monglian restaurant, and the concept was the same. Too much work to cook your own I think! Shabu Shabu is very popular here in the Philippines though, it seems.

Ate, my wife says Shabu is a type of drug in the Philippines, why would you call a restaurant Shabu Shabu?
