So after 3 days of pre fishing over a 2 week period I walk you thru how I make decisions based on practice and changing conditions to hopefully figure out the fish for the tournament. after a pretty consistent practice of course the fish would change for game day. do I make the right adjustments?

Won a club tournament here last weekend cranking a 6XD all day. Only weighed 4 but when they are that big it doesnt matter. The cranking bite was starting to turn on! only a few small bites on jigs and flipping creatures. Everything that weighed was on the main lake in 15-20'.

Im local to raystown and ahve grown up fishing for striped bass on it because my step dad is a guide but he will drop me off at like 3 am on my kayak and i have found the perfect patterns my by far favorites to throw is a fluke and a spook and here soon im hoping to start fishing tournemnts maybe this summer bc im 15

I’m local and haven’t had the chance to get a boat yet is there any tournaments,events from shore ? Or ways to get to know a partner that has a boat?

best way to get into bass tournaments is to join a bass club and ask if they accept "riders or co-anglers". join and then you can jump into the boat with guys, learn from them as well as compete in the club tournament
