For Alfredo Basecamp's 2nd Voyage in the aliner, we are spending the night at Hearts Content Campground in the Allegheny National Forest, PA. This campground is surrounded by a vast wilderness and offers many secluded first come, first served sites. To the south is the beautiful fern-filled meadows and streams of Middle Hickory Creek. To the East, is a large old-growth timber stand filled with 300-400 year old trees that tower above the forest floor. Finally, surrounding the campground itself, is the Red Pine Plantation which offers a completely different landscape.
