Ya know it’s nice to see the veterans helping the young guys, when I first started in power line work one of the older guys gave me a brand new pair of climbers.
Thank you for the comment I really appreciate it! I am definitely thankful for the guys I work with in the shop helping me out! 👍 I also enjoy your RU-vid content! I subbed when you were around 9k subs I believe.
We really appreciate you and the variety of contents that you produce for us ❤️ I know you love your ratchets. You gotta get your hands on the Ko-ken z series ratchet. They are amazing.
Thank you! Happy to hear you enjoy the content! More auto content to come soon! I will definitely give them a shot! Can’t wait to build up the tool arsenal!
Hell yeah! I see that yota shop sticker 💪 I've Bought a lot of good parts from them,yota1, and off-road solutions. I'm 3.4 swapping my 89 extended cab 4x4 yota pickup! Unfortunately I injured my hand so I'm moving slow. Awesome videos bro
Great video, I enjoy the banter on the tool trucks and the tool box tours. Like you, I buy a lot of my stuff on the promo deals. Anything that is "buy metric, get SAE for free" (or vice versa), I will jump on the deal and sell the SAE stuff later (I don't work on much, if any, SAE stuff) and I can recoup a lot of my money back. I did that for the Precision Torque metric/SAE bundle deals in the past. If I ever need a SAE wrench/socket, I'll just buy the singular item from Home Depot or Lowes.
The little stubby 1/4 (TK72). Its great for dash work and those hard to reach bolts round the back. Everyone in my place has borrowed it more than once.
That was hilarious. I think I should go back and rewatch every single Mac tool video and do a compilation of funny moments. That mirror was hilarious 😂
Pablo the long flat blade comes in handy for radiator hose clamps that get put on backwards the allen's you tossed safe you can cut one for getting in a tight spot use a wrench socket or weld to bolt that is stripped get yourself a tub of towels look at your hands at the start and at the end the video your ratchets and all your tools should shine before tub towels I would use WD40 and a rag to clean all my hand tools when gasoline was real it worked well thanks for the tour keep them comming
Yes I have been slacking on cleaning my tools lol. I ran out of tub of towels. I need to restock. More tours to come! lol I’ll drag the Allen’s out of the trash can 🤣. Thank you for the support I appreciate it!
Great box tour! I agree about the variety of color, especially considering that Snap-on at one time or the other had about every color in the spectrum lol. I also love that 1/4” swivel/roto head. Got mine in Hi-Viz. Keep up the great content and all the very best! 👍
I totally agree! Nice profile picture! Looks like you have every color! I am happy to hear you enjoy the content. It really means a lot to me! Thank you so much for the support!
lol they are awesome. Ask your local dealer for one! If he’s out check eBay they go for about 50$ (brand new in packaging) not sure who would use a used razor lol
Glad to see someone around my age using Icon. I’m trying to get back in the auto industry and since I plan on sticking around for a while I wanted to start upgrading tools while still saving money where I can. Not disappointed at all with my Icon chrome sockets and extensions especially for the price
Took a bit but it’s out! Always so busy after work I was able to come in on a day off and take the time to film it. Thank you for the support appreciate it!
Those rivet machine are expensive but some manufacturers require it in order for them to sell you body parts. And they save so much time. And it's fun using them 😅
Good mix of practical tools. Mechanic work is about making a living not spending as much as possible at the start. If anything breaks, upgrade. If it doesn't break or underperforms enough to justify upgrading, then upgrade.
Definitely, I agree with you 100% I will admit a nice big huge box with a steel top and a hutch is very tempting but I really don’t need it at the moment in the future when the time is right, I could see myself purchasing one. I like to say is just buy the best quality tool you can afford 👍 thank you for watching. I really appreciate it!
The snap on welders are not bad, but man miller and Lincoln is the best. I’d put it up against Hobart though! Those killer tools that you didn’t know what it is, is for measuring the front cap when a collision comes in to see if we just straighten the fenders or we need to take them off and replace the structure behind the panels.
Just so you know and dont smack it with a hammer.. the 35170 Lisle mini pry bar kit does NOT have the striking cap, and that is instead just the magnet! That would be the 35100 and its also a great little tool, i bought 3 sets of all 3 for work, home and my Ram! You can find it for under 10 bucks and its super handy.
Thanks for the info! I did notice it was magnetized I guess I never put two and two together lol. I will definitely pick that set up! Thank you for watching I appreciate it!
I am not a mechanic but I have a collection of ratchets I love these tool just like him, I have all 3 name brand ones from the smallest the the biggest ( 3/8, 1/4).
I would love to have a sticker with a 68 dodge charger r/t. my dad had a 68 charge r/t with the super commando 440 looks like that you are going to be a great mechanic
Oh nice what color was it? They are awesome cars! Please email me and I’ll get some sent out. I had ran out but I just got more in and time to ship them out!
Good box tour. Don't go crazy trying to catch up on tools. Take your time to get what you need. The drill bit goes in that hole, not the extractor lol. It should be a drill bit for every extractor size.
@@pablosgarage707 I know it's no popular, but if I had to go back to buying my own tools for work, I would buy lesser expensive options for tools I don't use often. BUT, that ball joint press is there and will always come in handy lol.
They’re not cheap they got the same warranty. If not better half well over half the price of snap on icon is a good tool. Yes it does look like snap on it’s similar and it does a job. You don’t have to take a second mortgage out.
McDonald’s, Panda Express, Food delivery, warehouse, quick lube. Did those jobs during and after high school. Automotive was always a hobby for me it all started with nitro rc cars around the age of 8 then that turned into real cars and eventually ended up where I’m at today
The icon set is legit, the taps are pretty tough and don’t break easy. Best part is if the tap breaks you can warranty it …. Nobody else does that but the tool trucks
Hello ! Do I understand correctly that you will be moving to Alabama in the near future, will you introduce the tools you used to work with, will you sell all the tools to friends in order not to take things so far and open your own small auto repair shop in Alabama, will you buy new tools there. If you do all this, you you are really a very happy young man. Will you make us some videos about your new life and job, I'm used to watching your good videos!
I will be taking my tools. I’ll be moving everything. I’ll most likely start up in a shop as an employee over there. Goal is to have a shop space on my property to work on my projects and side work and see where it takes me. I’ve also considered running a tool truck. So much but within time I feel life will put me in the best patch for me. I’m always open to new things! I actually have a roadtrip video planned stay tuned!
