i adore this little pony and i'm so happy with how he is coming along - he's gonna be a star. i hope you guys enjoy this little look into all of the training that has gone into making this pony a solid citizen.
also keep in mind that these weren't all of the rides i've ever had on him. i don't normally video days i just flat but all of the jump schools he's had are in this. there was a lot of flatwork that you don't see here and at one point i mention that i tried not to do canter to halt transitions with him (which is true) but there are a few times where you see me do a canter to halt and those times were normally because he was pulling on me so hard that it was time for him to halt and get some of the balance back on his hind end so that he would stop pulling. i just wanted to explain that because i feel like someone will probably notice it lol
the last thing i want to explain better is why i didn't try him before i bought him. so basically we had been driving for a long time and i was tired and the ground was muddy and there wasn't really a place to ride him anyways (the lady i got him from offered to take him somewhere but i told her it wasn't a big deal.) it's my job to be able to get along with any type of horse and i'm confident in my ability to figure horses out and turn them into what i want. there's a certain price point that i'd definitely want to try and vet a horse before buying it but pablo was not there.
i think that's all i wanted to say - i hope you guys enjoy this video and thanks for watching!!
xoxo
