I have the exact same issue. Check engine is constantly turning on, sometimes for seconds sometimes for minutes. When i go up a hill/mountain the stop engine light comes on. Thank you for the advice. I will check my wiring harness for damage.
Thanks so much for this video. I just rebuild my engine and am having thesame issue with the stop light. I checked the cable, wrapped it with the rape but it continues. My question is how long can you drive with such an issue because it comes on and off
I don't have that issue, but have had other wires do the same from vibration etc. One thing I do is like where that tie was and wore through. I take a small piece of old rubber hose or bicycle tire inner tube and wrap the electrical wires and then tie it again to secure it from wear and vibration. Because where those wires go into the unit, the wiggle and movement could eventually break them. It would then be very hard to splice them at that point. Ok want to ask does the paccar give good mpg?
@@VladMaktrucks thanks. I have a 2001 pete 379 with a c-15 cat. Average 5.5. Have hit 6 a time or two. I pull rail containers. The mpgs are checked and recorded every month for my quarter IFTA reports.
Hello Friends, I have a daf model 2020 mx13 engine, engine retard. Why does this engine damage the camshaft, and I have seen several cases where the camshaft also breaks quickly, and this is a weakness for this engine. In your opinion, the cause of the damage of the camshaft and roller. Isn't it too much to use 3 engine retard times on a hill? Please advise, this is a problem for this engine, and the second question is what type of oil is suitable for this engine. Please answer Thanks
