I had a baby at daycare who LOVED side lying paced bottle feeding. In face she and one other kid would drink MORE if put in that position to feed (and pace bottle fed!). When she got old enough to feed herself her bottle, she’d pace bottle feed herself which was a surprise and it was funny ❤

There are times when she has that bottle in his mouth and it doesn't even look like he can get milk because she doesn't have it raised up enough also if a baby's laying in his bed drinking his bottle I can understand it lying flat but if you're holding a baby I think it would be better to raise it babies through above its stomach so that through natural swallowing in gravity the milk would go down into its stomach easier and better for digestion and even if you were sitting down or lying back just a little bit and you had the baby on your breast the baby would still be inclined so that it would not be lying flat its little bottom would be in your lap and it's mouth would be up at your breast
