A piece people have heard zillions of times but THIS arrangement with all the harpists...SO GORGEOUS. I would have been teary eyed in the audience. If you folks had a CD with this performance, it would be on repeat at my home.

My mom was a member of the Silicon Valley Chapter & the Bay Area Chapter of the American Harp Society - I remember many performances of this wonderful piece with her playing, Phyllis Schlomovitz, and Renee Quinn. Such a wonderful piece... It makes my heart happy to see this.

That was absolutely the most beautiful version of that song that i have ever heard. It was divine.The angels have some competition because they were beat at on their native instrument. Positively wonderful.

The music is available several places online, including through Vanderbilt Music and Lyon and Healy's harp music department. It is listed as Pachelbel Canon in D Harp Solo, and the Harp II part is sold separately through the same distributors. We played these two harp parts, and then there was some "ad libbing".

Yes. This is also like a fairy tale from a magical book. You open it and all of a sudden, the magical gates open up to a world full of nostalgia!

Yes, this beyond words. I never paid attention into harp playing all my life. This is an unintended search which led me to this video. Tell you, I was struck in disbelief, it's marvellous, and glorious. The story of King David played for King Saul came almost instantly, he must have been a very talented harpist. Now I understand, it's so powerful and capable of soul reaching.
