I'm so excited for my camp this year. Just some tips: 1.) Try to look your best. Not dressed everyday but just well dressed. You will regret it later after you are the pictures. (At least I did. 2.) Bring a laundry bag or a trash bag to put your dirty clothes in. 3.) **if your camp is at a college** bring decor for your dorm room and make it cute. It will make you happy every time you walk in there. 4.) Stay away from drama. It's a bunch of teens getting together so it's bowned to happen. Just be nice and have a good time!
Omg I my Summer camp god cancel I was going to go to Panama city this year it got rescheduled and I'm going in a few months it's a Christian camp for are we learning and worship god and happen at the beach love you channel!!😁
I’m so excited to leave for my camp in 6 days! But I’m kinda sad because my friend who was going to come with me got covid so she can’t come. But a different might come!
So glad to have watched this! I always think that travel is made easier when you have the best travel gear and essentials too. The bento bag from Nomad Lane is my best carry-on bag for travels like this. Thought I'd share it with you, too! :)
I didn't get to go this past summer because of covid but recently we had weekend camp for young life and they made it official that we are going to go to 1 of 2 places we had requested
I use a trash bag for sheets and blankets for my Camp as well. Camp was canceled last summer but am,hoping its back to onsite next Summer. This will be my 8th year as a Counselor.
My summer camp starts on June 17th but I’m literally watching videos 2 months and 16 days before it even starts (16 days till staff sneak peak comes out though!!)
ive been going to my camp for 4 years in a row and last year would have been my 5th but it was canceled bc of covid but i get to go back this year for my 5th year and i’m so happyyyy
You are absolutely amazing. How often do you do your grocery shopping? Do you ever stock up on water? Can you possibly do some in store videos? I think it would be awesome if you could show how you do your full shopping
Thank you for your kind words! Since I still live at home, I grocery shop for myself maybe once a month. I never stock up on water, I solely use reusable water bottles and fill will clean tap at home. I do have a couple in-store vlogs on my channel, and although I have considered vlogging while grocery shopping, I’ve yet to do it! During this pandemic, my main goal is to get in the store & out as quick as possible. But I’ll definitely consider it in the future! Thanks for the idea! :)
I think this video is great help and wish there had been things like this when I was younger and going to camp but I thought I should let you know that sheets to not stop bed bugs. You can get bed bug covers for mattresses but they go around the mattress fully. Hope you have a great time at camp. God bless.
Another hack for clothes is packing a outfit in a large freezer ziplock bag so when you change you can put the dirty outfit into the bag and it is water proof.
This helps me pack cause I’m going to camp on July 11th Edit: omg thank you so much for liking my comment honestly thank you so much! I love ur vids ur also rlly pretty
I HAVE TIPS 1) bring your own water most times there water is nasty 2) when rolling up your cloths roller up your pants shirt under stuff all together because you normally get a small time to get ready 3) get water from the water fountain put it in your hair and wash it in line of the shower you only get like two minutes (normally) 4) bring more then what you think you need 5) some cabins may have no windows or doors so bring lots of blankets and sleeping bags 6) dress to impress cus u will look at all your photos and be like :/ 7) bring a camera disposable ore video recorder camera 8) bring fun things like room decor or organizers to organize your stuff + make ur room spunky thanks home this helped!!!
I always miss camp a lot in January/February for some reason so I’m like crying because I just watched the highlights from last year. I just want to go so bad. I miss my friends, I miss the camp, I miss the summer, I miss a break from my parents!
I’ve been binging all of your camp videos because I finally found a Christian camp! I can’t wait to go, and I do have a Fitbit so if I wear that I can read texts from my friends and fam (can’t answer tho🥲) so kinda like letters 😅 we also have a canteen, so I don’t have to pack my own snacks, and I only have my bestie so I would like maybe a few more friends 🥹 and I’m going to a new school next year so maybe some people are going to the same school
I didn't get to go to camp last year because of COVID, but I get to this year and ironically I am also leaving on July 19 :) Yours seems to be a very religious camp, while mine is mainly outdoor adventure.
I really want to go to camp in 2022 (obviously can't in 2021 bc of Covid) when I'm 14-15 ish but I don't think my dad will let me go to Maine from Cali by myself... But anyways thanks for the tips!
I know this is really late, but there’s a good chance your camp wasn’t canceled this year. Who knows, it might not be too late to sign up, even if it ends up being a camp more local for you!
That’s so sad 😭 I am watching because I need to go camp but I went last year but I want to pack good this year. Because last year was not what I expected but it was my first year so of course.
Lol its April on easter and i am currently watching this Edit: okay so i recommend something to read and it is cristy miller its a series and its really good its a Christian book with romance and really good like 12 books to keep you busy i read it all and i love it
I have had one camp in the past but now I hav e two, the one my mom went to and one that my grandparents church kids go to, the one I go to all the time is only about an hour from us, my mom takes me and the staff is really nice so I just take my phone in the car and leave it with my mom. But the other one that I am going to I’m going with my grandparents church and it’s a 4 hour drive and I don’t know anyone so I’m taking my phone and leaving it in my bag😂😂
Have anybody been to life teen camp at hidden lake? I have and it’s a blast but unfortunately I’m too old now because that’s the middle school one and I’m not sure where the high school one is held if there even is one
