I'm Swedish and lived in Australia for a few years. When I went to Ikea in Sydney I cried when I smelled the cardamom buns, they are sooooooo Scandinavian and gave me flashbacks of home

Ah, if ever you end up at this side of the world again, come visit Tallinn in Estonia. Our old town is fully medieval, full of history and so magical, both in the summer and winter. So lovely watching you travel and explore!

Mistborn, yesss!!!!! Such a great series. Vin is one of my favorite characters of all time. The Wax and Wayne series (Era 2) that begins after the first three Misborn books (Era 1) are my absolute favorite. Such an excellent balance of action, humor, intelligence, etc. So good!! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the first couple of books. Safe travels!

My cousins do the cold plunge. lol. When they were here in Canada, they jumped in our pool in MARCH!! Like there was still ice on it. So happy you enjoyed Andersen Bakery, 🥰

The bigger pot is actually great cause it gives a more lux vibe. You can fill the pot with more boxes or blankets and put a topper like moss or larger rocks so u dont see the mess and the plastic small pot. The thing about the pot though is that its very square and stiff (even though its round haha) and the fireplace and everything else feels very square. If you can find another place for it like outside or another room with another plant i would put the fig in a more antique looking vessel thats more rounded to counteract the modern square-ness in the other pieces 😊

I too am obsessed with the castle/palace life! My joy is travelling to the old world to see the history. And Yellowstone. Okay, can we please find a John Dutton or Rip for me. I am no Beth, but dang, I’d be Beth if I could have a Rip! Haha. Summer flowered Beth dresses are the look I’ll be going with this spring/summer season!

So fun getting to view this beautiful city through you! Also so happy to see your living your castle dreams. As for the polar bear dips, they are soul saving. I too am the biggest baby when it comes to cold, but I started doing polar bear dips last year and it has been so good for my mental health and full body reset. I am a Vancouver local and dip into the ocean at Kits beach every two weeks if you ever want to join and wake up your senses!

The mistborn series is so good! It starts a little slow but Brandon Sanderson is big into world building and character development so it's worth it! I also don't think that the first books are slow for the throne of glass. It starts out pretty fast actually. You meet the main character and then her world gets turned upside down pretty quickly.

Glad you’ve enjoyed Copenhagen as much as my husband and I did in 2018. Visited in Winter too. Hope to revisit one Summer again. So much more to see! The attraction we missed out on was Tivoli park - closed temporarily. We did too take a train to malmo as I had wanted to get over that famous bridge for years. X

I was thinking that, too. Stuff a bunch of crumpled up newspaper around the base of the plant to take up space and help it fit more tightly, then you won’t need to spend as much on the moss.

You HAVE to go to Tivoli next time you go!! It is a magical amusement park right in the middle of the city! It's always beautifully decorated and feels like you've been transported to a different land!!

I was there at the same period as you !!! I am from France. I looooved the city, so pretty, relaxed, not too crowded, modern&old. I visited amalienborg, rosenborg but not christianborg (i regret that now i saw your vidéo). I liked atelier septembre but it doesnt deserved the hype. Avocado toast and porridge were good but nothing unforgettable. My budget hotel was 2 min away. It was so cold I wasnt prepared hahaha i stopped in stores just for heating. And it is expensive but well that i knew

I LOVE throne of Glass. I don't agree that the first few books are slow by any means. I love all of them. I think a lot of people prefer book 3 onwards due to the content, and characters that are introduced but theyre all amazing

Where is the tiger patch cosmetic case from? 😱😍 Your travel book woes is a big reason why I LOVE my kindle. I can travel with so many preloaded books without a care in the world….. Faux Plant hack/tip- you can fill the top with real dirt or moss for an added touch to make it look more real. (If keeping it in the giant pot you can use packing paper or similar to properly stuff the empty space then top off with real dirt)

What a pity that you won't be visiting Stockholm but then again it's much lovelier in the summertime :) If you do come, make sure to visit the little island Djurgården. Apart from the royal castle in Old town there are a few smaller castles on Djurgården and the environment is lovely, like being on the countryside although it's the middle of the city.

Not going to go all mom on you, BUT….Get a shoe bag, gurl! Do you know what kind of crud you walk through on a daily basis? I use Baggu because they’re smushable and washable.
