I use the Clorox wipes as well and wipe off EVERYTHING!! I’ll even board the flight first (and let my husband board a few people back) so I can get to my seat before my husband (so I can begin wiping) so that we don’t hold up the other passengers !

$1 bills for tipping? I recommend $2 bills! They make great conversation pieces too! Your bank has them or can get them in a couple of days.

Thanks Cheri for this video. We are cruising on March but we will be traveling to Puerto Rico this summer and it gives me ideas on what to pack now. Before the pandemic, I always cleaned the airplane seats, tray and seatbelts. Enjoy and stay safe.

I like all of your other ideas but to bring your own water bottle and not get new ones means you avoid water bottles. We all need to stop purchasing plastic that once manufactured stays on this earth for centuries if not millennia. If everyone nixed the “free” giveaway bottles and used what already exists in our cupboards think of the impact worldwide!

I flew on American Airlines in Dec., we were in first class and they fed us well. I was a little surprised, but enjoyed the service.

I do suggest not taking nuts, especially peanuts or peanut butter anything on a plane, I know people who are highly allergic to it even being in the air.

My daughter is prone to getting Migraines. On our last cruise (January 2020) I packed Liquid IV and it was a game changer for her. I normally keep some in our garage fridge with the bottled water for when I am outside in the garden and just popped them in my backpack as a last minute "might not hurt" kind of item. Now they have a spot on my packing list.

One great tip that I learned from you Sheri is to find dresses👗 that can go from evening by dressing them up with jewelry, shoes and a evening bag and then down playing in in the day time with a sandal and fun costume jewelry. I have done that on 2 cruises now and also another tip was color coordinating my clothes to keep the shoes, jewelry, and purses to a minimum. Now if I could just get my toiletries and make up to a minimum that would be great. So happy for you and the family that you are cruising again. I can't wait to cruise again.

Why would you possibly put the extra stress of just taking carry on. This isn’t a business trip where you must be at a meeting immediately after you land, take it easy relax & for goodness sakes check a bag and take your good blow dryer or whatever, it’s not worth the bragging rights. Have fun!!!

Actually, having more “stuff” creates stress for us sometimes. More weight to haul, more stuff to unpack and pack off the last day, etc. But your point is valid!

WOW carry for a cruise! That’s impressive 👏🏻 I’m glad you said it’s ok to feel nervous, anxious and apprehensive. I’m all of those but helps to know I’m not alone. The Amazon seller is lying to you that your toiletry case is TSA compliant. It's about 127 cubic inches in capacity, which is over two quarts, so over twice as large as is permitted. Having said that, many people seem to be doing this and TSA doesn't seem to be doing much about it as long as the individual items don't exceed the limit.

Another good option for hydration and electrolytes is Ultima. You can get it at whole foods in little packets. Tasty and sugar free. I use 1 packet to 32 ounces of water instead of a 16.9 ounce bottle. I bought the Miatui Jenny over a year ago and it was perfect for my trip to Colorado earlier in the month. I cannot stand hotel shampoo. it dries out my hair badly. have to pack my Paul Mitchell Tea tree shampoo in small bottle. My next cruise is 250+ days away and I CANNOT WAIT.

Rash guards were actually for surfers so they don't get a rash from chafing on the wax on the board. It has made it's way into more mainstream "swimwear" for ladies who want more coverage than a bathing suit provides.
