Planning out your outfits for the trip is such a smart move. I, too, am indecisive and often end up packing a lot more than I end up using. I really should do a look book.

tip from my mom whos been traveling to at least 1 country per year since the early 2000s (except 2020 ofc) she likes to preplan out an intineary with at least 5 different food options near each hotel we go to and she likes to bring along clothes that are older and throws them away so theres more space in our luggages to bring back goodies for family and friends

As a anxious person who is often afraid of being under prepared, this video is sooo helpful to me. You’re just listing off things that you’re packing and have booked/planned but I managed to find a few things I haven’t thought of! I’ll be going to Japan at the end of the year and I’m bringing friends with me, it’s a lot to think of and be prepared for, so thank you for your type A personality and this helpful video 😆

i just want to say i appreciate you. im also a type A virgo, and i've often been teased by my friends when i've used google sheets to assemble outfits haha. i also like to pre-plan or make lists. it relieves anxiety for me and also makes it easier to know what to do/pack beforehand so im not scrambling last-minute. esp when doing a big overseas trip to japan for the first time! :) going next month, and im super excited! just wanted to say that youre not alone!!

Omg! I loved this video! The moment you said "if you dont pack using packing cubes, youre doing it wrong." I was like LOL - THIS GIRLS GOTTA BE A VIRGO! Low and behold.. Lol it totally reminded me of my sister. You go girl! Even tho im a Taurus, I totally planned out my outfits on an outfit planner app too. It helps me minimize overpacking and making sure pieces match/go together so I dont have to think to much. Great video, keep it up!

I recommend one of those neck pillows that allows you to attach the pillow to the headrest! It’s such a game changer I think it’s called cabeau evo

It was so good! It made sleeping so much more comfortable since I liked being able to keep my feet up higher - it's a more comfortable position for me. The splitter is also fantastic if you like using wired earphones but still want to charge ❤️

Do you take dramamine as well? I've had a few people recommend those goggles to me bc I travel A LOT and have super bad motion sickness :( I usually try and keep my eyes closed and just listen to movies or podcasts that I've downloaded, but I still get woozy..

Awesome video ! I am planning on going in march ! I do have a question did you think the JR pass was worth it ? I hear a lot of people saying that it is not and also with the suica it won’t let me pay for it with a visa 😭 I am not sure what to do

I think it was worth it for me because I used it to go from Tokyo to Kyoto and back to Tokyo. But if you’re only staying in one area, it’s not worth it. When my JR pass expired, I just used my Suica. If you have a non-Visa card, try that! I used my Mastercard to add money to my Suica and it worked perfectly fine. I believe Visa cards have to be Japan-issued in order for it to work

I really liked it! It made sleeping more comfortable cuz I like that it held my legs up. I'm definitely gonna use this on all my long trips from now on

Did you use visa card for suica on iphone?? I tried doing it but it wont go thru.

Same thing happened to me! It’s because it has to be a Japan-issued Visa card, but mine isn’t. I had to use a Mastercard to add money to my Suica card
