Paul Gamble will show how you typically to "set the toggles" or "set the brakes".
On older gear you often see velcro as the material and method for setting the toggles. Parachuting manufactures have all moved away from velcro on main canopies because velcro is the DEVIL!
It will seriously had wear and tear on your lines and to be monitored carefully. My own risers and toggles in this video were due for an upgrade.

Thanks for this video partner, much appreciated. The running down the entire brake line to remove the twists isn't something my dropzone taught us in the packing class. To hear that this could be a cause of a slider up malfunction is great information. I'll start doing this at the end of my jump days for sure! Thanks again.

I pass the stiff end of the brakes thru the ring. Should I stop doing this ? Tell me. Thanks for the video 👍🏻😎 Blue Sky dude 😜

WHOA!!!! Yeah....stop doing that immediately!!! You should never put the stiff end through the guide ring even if it fits....that's a good way to give yourself a toggle-lock. Maybe think about replacing your risers....they have some nice ones available at chutingstar.com
