Pretty sure there is an option to have someone there to recieve it. Not entirely sure. I never really gave a fuck. I live in an ok neighborhood and havent had issues. I also live in the back house so a lot of packages arent visible from the sidewalk anyways.

10:27 I'm an ex Amazon delivery driver, and there's options saying the package is empty before delivery. So if one were to steal an item there would be no need to deliver it to the house. That guy just wanted to screw the customer over instead of Amazon itself

Sometimes you don’t notice the envelope being open, being that it looks closed and if you are just looking for a barcode to scan, it’s happened to me before but I just told the customer that had to mark it not delivered on their side since I already marked it and couldn’t do anything about it

@@GLUFSAREN South America. And yes it happens alot in my country. If you're a thief just hope that you don't get caught. Criminal rate in the last 2 years has risen where even robbers get shot. The justice system is whack. A robber can get caught by the police and will be free within 3 months. So the majority of the people has taken matters into their own hands. Some family members and me were in this situation before. Caught a thief that tore down the wing mirrors of 3 cars at a party we were at.

I've had two things go missing and if it says "delivered" then AusPost says they just can't do anything about it which really is annoying. Luckily I'm in an apartment and my issue instead is the delivery dude can't be bothered ringing up and leaves a slip. Package thieves are much more common in American and Canadian suburban areas. The houses are just far enough away from each other to not get caught most of the time but also close enough to go door to door. OFC with cameras these days trying to steal from a porch is stupid.

Unless you live in Texas, it is illegal to shoot a fleeing burglar. Unfortunately, if someone steals your package and runs away you can't shoot them unless it's for self-defense.
