Bose Pick-up: always ask about the remote. If they don’t have it, it’s absence can be a good bargaining tool. The remotes by themselves also have value.

Karen, I am so impressed with your being able to use your left hand to open all the boxes and "explore" the shelves and racks at the various locations. Karen, you can just stick a bunch of Styrofoam in those pots and cover it with moss then stick all your artificial stuff out there and it'll be beautiful and you won't have to water it at all. 😊 When it gets all beat up you throw it out and you get some more at the next garage sale. 😅

Hey Karen...always fun to go yard-sale-ing w/u. Oh my...so funny the guy running the yard sale that used to live in Fla...near Tampa. I lived in Fla, about 15 years near Tampa in Brandon & before that Temple Terrace & Seffner. I moved there from Va to be near my folks(now gone) and a brother in 1992 when getting divorced. I left mostly due to the heat too. My mom & dad had lived in Sun City Center. The heat there just felt oppressive to me. I wanted to spend more time outside, but couldn't. Sometimes the heat & humidity literally made me feel ill. But for some, the heat really doesn't get to them. I had to find a way to move, and I did in 2008 ( the worst time to sell my townhouse) but it was hard, I sacrificed a lot to move...yet it was better for my health. I live again in the DC metro area in Md now, remarried 2014 (I have another brother who lives in this area.)The temps are much more moderate and you get a real change of seasons. And then the bugs and my allergies and sinuses were way worse down there than the mid-Atlantic. Florida is beautiful and great for the beaches and all. But if you live there year round, you need to know whether you can take the heat and humidity (and hurricane🌀season) or not. It's a big consideration. 😊

Actually that grate is cast iron. It needs a good brillo pad. Take it off. Soak in some vinegar. Then put oil on it. Heat it up. That will keep those grates

I think those are 2, 3 legged milking stools, but they may have been repos because old ones are very rickety, you want the ones with the milkers sitting imprints on them, those are highly desirable and look like something that belongs in a wood pile lol!
