Packers Roster Locks & Surprise Cuts 

Most likely Ford doesn't make the final roster. Would have liked to see 338lb Ford and 335lb Slaton occupy the 3 interior OL freeing up the edge guys to go one-on-one vs the OT's.

Pratt and King are locks. No chance do those two guys in key positions and who’ve shown flashes and who fell late for various reasons in the draft not get kept. They’ve looked really really good

Your 39 locks are on the mark I can't see any of them not making the final 53 as you say. Johnathon Ford (very nice camp) a small chance over Colby Wooden but very slim indeed. I do think you're right on all your other picks & that Kalen King does indeed make the 53. The defense certainly looks almost set in stone at this point I can see little changing on D. You're 22 cuts are bang on. I'd wager right now not a 1 player you've mentioned makes the 53. Benny Sapp's a quality player for depth on the practice squad but safety room is just stacked! Samouri Toure who'd likely be a starter on some teams is simply a victim of a very deep room. Doubt very highly he'll make it back to GB's practice squad expect Toure will sign elsewhere. 6 good bets to make the team I'd disagree on RB AJ Dillion - his next 2 weeks will tell the tale! I refuse to give AJ Dillion a spot on the 53 over Emanuel Wilson if camp continues as it has. We know Gute don't like cutting his draft picks. That bodes well for King, Pratt & Oladapo. Pratt has made the most of his limited opportunities in camp raising questions possibly QB2? Kitan Oladapo injured much of camp in a stacked room that has balled in practice well behind. Bo Melton with his great body of work last season I think is almost a lock to make this team. Eric Wilson with his special teams prowess & so strong off the bench last season should. Matt Orzech who had a terrible season last year would be a lock with Peter Bowden now cut. The last 8 positions - Carrington Ballentine, Tyler Davis, Grant Dubose, Emanuel Wilson, Brenton Cox Jr (Aaron Mosby has had a stellar camp he'd look good on PS as a depth piece). O line remains wide open especially swing tackle hopefully GB go outside after cuts for help. Travis Glover as a draft choice in 6th round I expect to keep even with his very slow start. I can't believe I'm saying this but Andre Dillard (UGH! - best of the rest what choice is there)? Anders Carlson is my kicker even though many might disagree with my choice. He's young! That means I'm willing to cut ties with Sean Clifford & take my chances with Michael Pratt! Although I did keep Brenton Cox Jr. & not Ben Simms I believe both very much on the bubble. Cox Jr. likely be a game day scratch most weeks as would Simms. Long as they'd make PS. Malik Heath, Christian Welch, Robert Rochell, Benn Simms, Joel Wilson, Kadeem Telfort, Zayne Anderson, Johnathon Ford, Aaron Mosby, Benny Sapp, Jarveon Howard, Jalen Wayne. Those would all be players I'd want to make it back to the Green Bay Packers practice squad. Go Pack Go!

It's tough to think this but part of me wants Cooper, Lloyd, Oladapo to start the season on IR. It would ensure the two Wilsons et al make the starting 53.

I won’t be surprised if Dillon gets cut. Keep an eye on the hungry Emanuel Wilson he’s got more than heart he’s living thru with alotta of motivation.

If Dillon makes the roster this year, I truly hope the coaching staff recognize immediately and decide to part ways with him when he doesn’ perform instead of holding onto a roster spot. I’d rather move on and see what Wilson and Howard can contribute! Dillon had 4 years should be solely be based on job performance!

Thanks Andy. I am not sure the starting day kicker is on the team yet. IF E. Wilson gets a lot of carries the next couple games.....He's gone. I also think they cut Clifford, so they don't expose Pratt to waivers, then bring Clifford back as the #2 let Pratt sit and learn.

9 offensive linemen might be too few for the Green Bay Packers to roster, considering they routinely keep 11 on their 53-man roster. With that being said, Green Bay has enough tackle versatility that it could afford them to use another roster spot elsewhere, which they very well might want to do early on in the season as the NFL settles on a kickoff and kickoff return strategy under the league’s new rules. From left to right, the projected starters are Rasheed Walker, Elgton Jenkins, Josh Meyers, Jordan Morgan, and Zach Tom. Jordan Morgan is currently out with a shoulder injury while Zach Tom is coming back from a pec injury. The player that you should consider from the team’s 6th offensive lineman is Sean Rhyan, who was previously competing with Jordan Morgan for the right guard spot before Jordan Morgan started to pull away. Sean Rhyan has seen snaps at center and both guard positions this summer. The swing tackle on the team seems to be former 1st-round NFL draft pick Andre Dillard, who was signed by the team just before the 2024 NFL Draft. Kadeem Telfort momentarily displaced Andre Dillard as Zach Tom’s replacement, but Kadeem Telfort started at right tackle against Cleveland. Andre Dillard is the only true backup tackle to make the cut here, but Elgton Jenkins and Jordan Morgan both have tackle experience, which might be more valuable than any backup tackle can bring to the table. The final 2 players to talk about are Royce Newman, who is working as a guard with the 2nd-team offense, and Jacob Monk, who is playing snaps at both center and guard for the 2nd team. It wouldn’t surprise me if the Green Bay Packers kept 9, 10, or 11 offensive linemen, but the pecking order is starting to become clear and I’m also not certain Green Bay needs more than Andre Dillard at tackle off of the bench to get them through a gameday. - Sean Ryhan is a good bet to make the team...not a lock (depends on late FA additions) - Enegbare isn't close to being a lock...he's undersized as a 43 DE and struggles vs the run - Wooden is likely...not a lock. He's not a DT, but a DE. If he doesn't move, he will be exposed in the run game. - Brooks is absolutely a DE and not a DE. Just a matter of time before GB realizes this and moves him. - King isn't close to being a lock. He's given up some big plays in camp. If Bullard moves to the slot, King could get bumped...he's given up big plays in practice. - Toure odds aren't good but are better than what you indicated. - Melton odds are much worse than you indicated...I don't why GB fans like him so much. He's crazy overrated. - Dubose definitely has a better chance of making the team than Heath, Melton, or Toure. - Oladapo will be on the team...GB loves rookie draft picks. If GB sees the safety position as stacked, they will move bullard to the slot. - Glover will be on the team...GB loves rookie picks - Rochell has a better chance of making it then you indicated

AJ Dillon was not the 2nd coming of Derrick Henry and they need to move on. He's not even a decent short yardage runner in the NFL.

Dillion needs to go. And if you are talking this camp alone, melton doesn’t make it either. I know that’s your guy, but if he stays it’s based on last year alone. I personally would keep heath and dubose over melton.

Initial reaction: the thumbnail is distasteful. AJ loves both Green Bay the team and Green Bay the city. The contract he signed absolutely indicates that he is willing to do whatever it takes to stay where he calls home. Maybe some have had higher expectations for him than what he accomplished, but he has been a fine player on and off the field and he’s certainly earned the respect over the years to not be pictured like that on the thumbnail. Bummed because it seems like usually the human side of the players is factored into the equation on this channel, but this was a shortcoming imo.
