I am excited. It really feels like Poles has put this team in the right direction. The super high expectations are a little crazy but I expect them to improve from last year. There will be ups and downs as there is with any Rookie QB, but with the talent around Caleb, he has what he needs to succeed. Go Bears.

D.J. Moore, Allen and Odunze will all be around 1000 yards receiving. I predict that Caleb Williams will own every Bear single-season QB record in the book. The O-line will be just good enough and they will play for the division crown. They might run away with it. The defense is going to be a turnover machine and there is a good likelihood that the rookie DE Booker is going to ball out and have a Mark Anderson like rookie year. Booker won't tail off like Anderson did. He will have a much better career in Chicago. Poles is going to eat the Nate Davis contract because this fan doesn't see any heart to play in the guy. I liked what Matt Pryor did filling in at RG for him. Bates might be good too. The O-line is good enough and there is depth if it's needed. BEAR DOWN!! FTP.

I am a Bears fan who was concerned about Caleb being a diva but I love that his teammates coaches and even the execs are all working together to keep his feet on the ground and head out of the clouds. The whole org and Caleb should get tons of credit for helping Caleb get the most out of his considerable talent by him having all these big brothers keeping him focused on the right stuff to be great. I also love that his footwork is so damn good. I always study this & even tho I liked Fields & wanted to keep him mainly because his teammates seem to want this. However, he had this knack for bouncing pretty high as he moved his feet around which seem to often lead to his passes lacking pinpoint accuracy. Then you have Caleb who barely jumps an inch or so as he resets his feet and then delivers 95 mph fastballs precisely to the right spot. So playoffs here we come IMHO.

Id rather have them go 8-9 or 9-8, miss the playoffs but Caleb plays up to expectations with solid TD-INT ratio, complete %, QBR and total Yards. Then build on from that next couple of seasons and keep improving with a Super Bowl. 12-4 and then one and done like 2018 is bad

To put things in perspective, we should all be hyped, until we know better. Trying to predict the outcome of a season is like playing the lottery! To look at trends, odds, and history, is actually counter intuitive, in my opinion. If we could correctly prognosticate the season the Chicago Bears were going to have, Las Vegas would be broke, but hype is free! Go Bears, fan since 1959!

It will be good for the Packers-Bears rivalry now that Chicago has a QB. Although as a Packers shareholder I was going to laugh if they did keep Fields. Justin Checkdown is not a franchise NFL QB. But he did improve last season more than I expected him to. Enough to get a spot in Pittsburgh at least. I live in SoCal so I know all about Caleb Williams, should be entertaining to watch him against the Pack twice a year.

One of the things that makes the NFL awesome is a team goes from worst to the first almost every single year. Something baseball needs to look at capping some of these teams and building new fan bases.

Born & raised a Bears fan. 4 wins max this season. Woke Williams will reveal the dress in his locker. Injuries will plague the Oline. The defense will be so good, it will be criminal & it still won’t be good enough to generate wins because the offense will be complete trash. Bears POTY will be Santos. Bagent will take over in week 5. All wins will come under Bagent.
