My moving horror story is that after I had already moved into my new place, my landlord informed me no one was moving into my old place for A WEEK. So I could've spent an extra week packing and moving leisurely hahaahahahaah 😭🥲
My horror story is that the first time I used my stove in my new apartment (last week) it got way hotter than I expected and when I started cooking all of the smoke detectors were going off SO LOUDLY and I had moving boxes all over. SO when I had to really awkwardly pick up a stool in a panic to stand on so I could silence the alarms I kind of tripped over a moving box and made a small gash in the wall with the foot of the stool 🤡 also my upstairs neighbor came down and was like “… u good?”
My horror story is we read the wrong month on when our lease ended, so we rented 2 different apartments for a month. At least the physical moving was relaxed lmao
@@tofugoob oh nooooo, haha 🙈 But at least you where ready before time then 😅 I moved last december, so I knoooow the struggle! Moving tip number one is definitely writing down on EVERYTHING (boxes, bags, whatever) what is inside , this makes unpacking so much easier! But you're already over that stage of moving, so maybe one tip while unpacking: Don't leave any box unpacked, cause it will stay unpackt for who knows how long 😂😂😂
Tip for moving hanging items. Leave all clothes on hangers, twist tie the hangers together in groups.. pull large trash bags over them from bottom up. Use the bag ties to wrap around the hangers, tie like your shoe lace.... This way you can easily untie and still use the bags for trash later.... Then hang them up immediately in new closet.
Giirrrllll, I was getting anxiety watching u move. 😂 I'm so not last minute & I just wanted to jump in the video & help u. I'm so impressed how calm cool & collected u were the whole time & u got it all done. Good job! Can't wait to 👀 ur new apt.
omg the amount of stress I felt when you said you had 3 days to pack your entire apartment 😅 also it was nice seeing the little recap of your whole apartment at the end! definitely feels fitting that you are moving into a new place right now during this big transition period in your life
Your point about making an effort to finish projects before starting new ones is great, definitely a good way to tackle things, BUT, I also wanna say there's no shame in dropping a project because you have a newly sparked interest in doing something else! You seem like a multipassionate person that jumps from one thing to another frequently, and probably your best work is doing when you're in that fresh strong interest for something phase, haha, so I don't think there's anything wrong with dropping a previous project for that :) And hey, you may very well pick up that old project lately with a new perspective and it'll turn out even better!
Was looking for a video to watch as I pack for my move and found this :) all the hobbies and art and everything drawers are too relatable, it’s like watching myself through a screen haha
Yes would love to see your decorating process for the new space! I was setting up a new smart TV and unpacking some cute art pieces from my recent holiday to New Zealand 😊 best of luck with the move!
I literally moved about a week ago, and god, it's so stressful!?! Im currently procrastinating if I should unpack all my boxes, but I can't motivate myself lol. But girl, we got this!!
It's like we're living parallel lives!! I've just moved homes too and have been Documenting the process in video form. Watching you is like being in it with another human. I love it
this was a great vlog, thank you so much! I enjoyed your chaotic process haha. I watched while I was at work, doing data entry on one screen and had you on my other screen. Then finished the last of the vlog in bed at the end of a long day with my orange tabby sound asleep by my feet. I wish you all the best luck for moving!
omg I was exhausted by the time you cleaned out your art supplies corner - haha - but really, you went about it all so logically and so energetically it really was a great lesson for all of us who might move soon - best of luck in your new space and just remember it takes a while to make a new space your own, so enjoy the process - and who else can make moving look like ... well, maybe not fun, but very entertaining - enjoy this new phase of your life! - and no tips or horror stories; just make sure the electric is on!
I did my dishes while I watched this, then packed my gym bag in preparation for my gym session tomorrow. I enjoyed this vlog it was my first time watching your channel
I’m in this exact situation right now. Thankfully, a lot of my clutter was never unpacked when I moved last October due to limited space, so I’m already half packed😂
While watching this, I was just thinking real hard about how goddamn many moving boxes I'd need for my stuff bc I have way too much stuff and have been working on fixing that for years, the motivation of much less work whenever I do move, is what's pushing me to get it done rn.
Hi also moving… to a whole other city … in 2 days 🫠 and literally just got back from a trip to Japan. Watching your video made me feel like we’re in this together a bit haha
I just moved countries (again) in the end of May and; oh wow, it is so stressing! I didn't even have half of the amount you have so I can only imagine how much more stressful you must have been! Hope everything is better now :)
Amazing video, omg moving is so stressful I'm so happy you didn't have to go very far lucky that you moved into the same building! Can't wait to see the move in vlog.
Ooh, if you make the sticker round, but even more EGG-shaped, I think that'd be super cute. I am also in the middle of a move right now and major life changes T___T losing stability is scary and overwhelming, but the potential of the new place is also super exciting. Stressed with mixed feelings :')
I have a hack for moving clothes, especially when they are all on hangers. You take a large trash bag and rip a hole on the bottom of the bag, then you stick all the handles for the hangers through the hole and drape the bag drape over so it protects them clothes and makes them less bulky to carry. Then when you move in you can just hang everything up at once and rip the bag off.
just moved into my first place a week and a half ago and totally relate to the process. it’s EXHAUSTING, my move was only across town so i can’t imagine how it is for people when they move across the country 😭 anyways i love your videos!!

Yessss I love these longer videos. It's such a comfort to sit down and share time with you in your videos. I'm not moving (hopefully, waiting for a new lease at the moment) but this makes me want to redecorate for sure. To answer your question, I was cooking dinner while I had your video on my iPad. It's lovely just doing things like cooking or drawing while I watch your videos. :3 Happy moving!
Hi!, i’m moving in two weeks and I had a really hard time to start packing my room, your video immediately switched my mood from sad and confused to; this is going to be fun and cosy! You’re so calm throughout the whole video that it kept me calm as well (through a process that would usually stress me out to a point of a mental breakdown), so thank you so much for that!! Can’t wait for your next video and I subscribed :)
Watching while eating lunch and ngl, the project manager part of me was like 😬 at times 😂. (Don't worry, the adhd part of me was playing with boxes) Hope all went well. Can't wait to see the new place!
I just moved in with my partner in March! My moving horror story was that we brought all our stuff from both our apartments and had 3 couches in our new (small) apartment for a while until we could sell our old ones 🙃 but once you’re settled in it feels so so good!
i love this video because i had to clean my room and it was really bad, so i could clean along!!! it felt really nice 🥲 also i love your videos and your energy is so fun like sunshine
heyy!! are you planning on posting your travel as a vlog? i'd be excited to watch it!! and damn i hate moving out but it's so excited at the same time! loved the video xoxo
my landlord had my wall fixed yerterday and after it was done i had to clean and organize my room all over again and i did that while watching your video. it felt like i had a really good and relatable company!! love your videos ♡
I’ve been watching moving videos all day to get motivated for my move, yours was the most inspiring and cozy along side my packing. It felt like you were talking with me and not to me ❤
Was there a specific amount you saved/ had income wise coming in before you quit the other jobs and went full time for art? I want to do the same but am unsure what the numbers should look like.
Ideally you should have 3-6 months expenses covered and already some income from your side hustle. Watch Caleb Hammer Financial Audit and you will get the gist.
