When you get settled into your new home and studio, maybe a good idea when you're in a less busy business period to maybe having/training someone to help you pack your orders with you to ease the pressure and stress. Hi Taylah, congratulations on the orders and the house :) I'm a long-time watcher and subriber. I'm have a hair accessory business as well for the last 5 years, (hair slide,pins and forks etc), my products are easier to make but I need 24 hours for the glue to dry, anyhow what works for me when I have loads of orders is that I take it in chunks, for example: if I have 100th I take them as chunk of 25, make 25 boxes write the name of the customer in pencil on it, start to pack, make two piles, one ready to go and one need to make, the ready to go, I pack and print labels and are ready in my bag/box to go, than I concentrate on the make pile, I prepare and make the product, let them dry, and move to the next chunk of order and so on. What I make it as routine is to take every day or every second morning my orders to the post office, the reason is: 1 it emptying the space and the other reason is it gets me out of the house, even just for 20 min, working from home by yourself it takes a toll on your mental health (I'm talking from experience). You got this, girl, you are amazing, so Proud of you, your achievements are amazing 👏 ❤️

Taylah, have you considered using a courier company for domestic deliveries. I live in regional Qld and recently ordered a 5kg tub of something from Victoria, and it was more than 50% cheaper to have it sent by courier than by Australia Post. Just a suggestion. 😊

I am guessing she has a tight profit line, it is a big step and need to be ready to market more heavily since your paying someone. She is making the most at this time of her life while she is young and there is time for building an employee base. Now with that I said, in my opinion I would greatly appreciate one offs., family friends.

Similar to previous comment you need a part-time employee for these instances! Maybe if someone else could be trusted to do the packing it would be a big relief

It must be so difficult to identify the fabrics and when orders come in know that you have enough fabric on hand!

As a small producer myself, you get to know all your fabrics etc. Choosing them and handling them helps to keep you 'in touch' with each design. Have to admit though, my inventory is Way smaller than Taylahs....she's amazing.
