Love these videos! I so enjoy watching with my coffee or tea. Loved your sense of humor when you turned the page of your sketch book to say Im going to start sketching more then turned to an empty page!😂
I am normally more of a cat person, but I am absolutely in love with Willow! The look on her face when she looked at you on the bed in the morning, just tugged at my heartstrings. I loved seeing your spring gardens! Would love to see more garden tours as things come into bloom. Have a beautiful Sunday. 💗
Noticed how Willow coordinates with your bedding ! Soo cute with her Peter Rabbit and bed time ! I 'm sure your mother enjoyed the visit. Thanks Linda for another interesting video.
I loved going on this outing with you and Willow. She has the cutest face and expressions. I enjoy watching you every week. Today is Sunday, and I watched while having my coffee. Till next time.
Love your sketch journal. Adding pressed or dehydrated flowers, seed packet papers, or photos from your garden could make it like a junk journal. So inspired by your ideas! Love your videos!
Jamie I love the idea of adding more to the garden journal!!!! Thank you for suggesting that. I think the larger book would work very well for doing just that.
It's amazing how much of a difference a good vs bad sketch book makes, and finding the 'just right' size. I like smaller ones, with heavier paper, and a square vs rectangular shape. You are very talented-keep up those sketches-maybe make notes cards from a few of them to add to one of your Fine Living Boxes :)
I was thinking along silmiar lines....mini gold framed paintings for display in bookcases, desks, nightstands or even wall with other various sized frames. To be sold in the online store....very talented artist Linda is!
Hi Linda, your sketching is excellent! Willow loves that Peter rabbit, very cute. My dog’s wont go to bed without us either. Have a great week ! See ya Sunday.
Thank you Sylvia! Aren't dogs the cutest when it comes to bedtime. Willow will come get me if it's late at night and nudge me. She knows I could work all night LOL
Another sweet, relaxing video... Thank you gracious lady. That "pink" moon had me night-owling for a week, which put me in the mood to weed out the purse and shoe closet. At least it's more productive than scrolling ;)
She is a one of a kind painted consignment purchase from the past. No information of who did it and when. It is one one piece of wood which is amazing. I am thinking how I can make a mini version in print of her.
So enjoyed spending time with you and that precious Willow. See a problem 😂we all get into a slump. When I scroll down it get me off track and into things that can be overwhelming. Thanks! Sweet Linda. You are a favorite of my few meaningful tutorials. ❤️💐
Thank you so much for your video today. It was very very nice. I enjoyed it. I look forward to your videos every weekend. I work part time as a security officer on Saturdays and Sundays and I like to sit back and watch your videos. They’re so nice I wish I could visit out there someday the history is so cool thank you again have a lovely day. God bless.
I don't know how you do it, but ordinary everyday things seem magical when we see them through your eyes and camera lens, accompanied by lovely music. Thank you for showing us how to see beauty in our lives!
I agree, I look forward to these Sunday videos...I am falling in 💕 with sweet Willow as well! I use to love going to Kimball Farms for ice cream too! Definitely worth the drive!
Loved this video Linda, I think you ought to have Willows face printed on mugs, I’m sure they would sell… she’s delightful!… Lovely trip out, the houses are just gorgeous & the colours are pretty.. Thank you for sharing..☺️
This must be the year of reawakening for long sleep flora. In the little patch of yard that separates our properties, my neighbors noticed a 'weed' and commented on it. It was a hollyhock that was from the early 1950s planting, overplayed several years by a vegetable garden and later just grass. I remembered that there were 4 of them and have been a favorite of mine since I was a little girl!
.....THRILLED Linda that you might be able to add the Linen Fabric Sketch /Journal to your online store. I noticed right away the thick paper quality was just lovely / perfect before you mentioned the paper quality was nicer then your new Navy Journal. I have wanted to start sketching my garden flowers for a couple years but hadn't searched out such rare quality paper. I would definitely order a Sketch Journal from you! Just love your channel, been a subscriber for about 4+ years and have shared your site with my friends and even women who I meet at garden centers! Yeap, I one of those gardeners who sometimes have started a conversation about a plant and 30 mins later we are still chatting about flowers and gardens, some become pen pals or we tour gardens together....some women who I have met already subscribe and we squeal in delight how we are all such kindred spirits....and how we love everything about your channel! Happy Spring indeed Linda! I live in NC a few blocks from Lake Norman and our Spring has passed, we are in early Summer now....pansies out and petunias planted...oh how I wish Spring was longer. My daffodils start blooming mid to late January to early March. Our Azaleas have just finished 2 weeks ago....however I get to experience Spring all over again from your lenses and what a thrill it is! Thank you, Thank you!!!
Hi Linda! Your sketches are so lovely. How about creating a journal featuring your sketches for us to purchase. I know you are so busy with your other adventures, but Something simple…..maybe paperback with pages of your sketches mixed in with pages for writing. Just thinking!
Hello again Linda.. Really enjoyed the trip to your mom's and I have to say that your flowers are beautiful..Can't wait to see everything in bloom..Yes I would love to try your vanilla..I would though like a little more information.. Again thank you for another enjoyable video.. Until Next Time..
Good Morning Miss Linda from GA! Watched your video doing little snippets throughout yesterday and this morning...I think I got it all. Thanks for all the fun! My husband wants your Ben's truck so very badly. I guess it would be called "Old Truck Envy"! Augusta had already come into bloom before the Master's Golf tournament and so it was not as pretty on TV as it usually is. I love seeing your beautiful gardens in New England as well as other gardens around our country. I would love for you to have a New England Garden tour and you could open it up as a "New England Fine Living" tour for your followers. We could all stay in some wonderful bed and breakfast and you would be our tour guide. Let's make it for three days and of unfortunately it would be limited in number, but remember my name is top of the list! 🤓 ha! as I look back on my comment I see a lot of love goin on! Love, Y'all!❤
I enjoyed this video very much. My daughter lives on the North Shore, and we have met her, her husband, and the grand kids at Newburyport many times, and it's one of our favorite places. Willow was absolutely charming, and I loved your sketch books... Keep up the great work!
Willow is just adorable. I used to not be a fan of poodle like dogs. But I am won over, plus I visited my sister is Texas recently and her granddaughter has the most sweets part poodle dog, Obi Won. Thanks for the video!
Linda..as always a wonderful video. I love to see your travels. That bus trip was interesting, and to see the view of Boston! It's funny how spring is just starting to bloom at your house. My daffodils and tulips have been gone for weeks! Look forward to next week!
Hello Linda , I was so surprised to see your family history book, my mother's ancestors came over from England and settled in Southold. I grew up in that area.
Im a subscriber! I just love these videos of your trips. Im trying to talk my husband in to traveling to some of these places. Thank you for the inspiration.
Oh, where did you find that teacup? That is gorgeous. Don’t forget I sent you a message a while back and I think you should sketch your lane coming or going to your house …. You do a great job!❤
Hello Linda thank you for taking us along. It was great to see Willow out and about. I hate those kinds of roads. The road is like that to get to Old Edwards Inn, Highland NC. I was driving and my hands were sweating. The flowers you have blooming have finished here in the south. Some of my blueberries are turning a green with a very lite purple color. Have a good week.
I have a sunroom with lots of plants. I read that plants don't like to be touched too, but I can't help myself. Honestly, they seem to be healthier when I touch them and brag about how pretty they are. Lol. Beautiful video as always. Do you have a link to the sketch book?
Putting your bleeding hearts plastic pots in another heavier container is a good idea. Keeps from knocking them over easily or the wind blowing over the lightweight plastic pots. Keeps them safe until you plant them out.
Linda ,water kind of Pencil do use to sketch with ,,I never have but I think I could teach myself to do it ,my Grandmother used to,maybe I have inherited a part part of her genes ,we shall see. Hard to wrap my head around daffodils blooming in May ,I live in the Mountains of East Tennessee everything spring blooming is over Thanks for another great video 🌿🍃
I was using a Bic pencil, BUT I would go for a harder lead. It smudged more than I wanted since I grabbed the wrong one. I have real artists pencils, but ask me why I don't use them... I have no idea! LOL
Goo d morning , Linda loved going on your outings with you. Please don't get upset with yourself for not sketching.......you have been doing so many other things....slowing down a bit, but that extra time you filled with things YOU wanted to do......wallpaper, new shop, date nights, enjoying the seasons, planning your new gardens, finishing Sugarwood, your new Sugarwood 1790 Vanilla, and Bourbon. Plus as always teaching us to enjoy the fine living whatever it might be. THANK YOU, ps your sketches are amazing. Have a wonderful day..
I had mentioned to you a while ago that if you hire painters to finish painting the kitchen.. Then go to each room and finish whatever you want done..You will feel such peace and then you would feel more like sketching ..You and I are so much alike... When I get too much going at one time especially if undone chores or projects, I get very frustrated.....I am just saying...I would love to meet you, Linda...
The drive to the state park reminded me of the time when my family went up to the mountains just below Bishop California. The roads were on the sides of the steep mountains, narrow and scary. Beautiful up there, with ice cold stream water safe enough to drink, in August. Thank you for another inspirational video...
Fun to see the daffodils blooming. Ours finished weeks ago. There is a big white daffodil called Mount Hood that is one of my favorites. Your sketch books are special. Willow is just so cute wanting you to go to bed with her ❤️ Enjoyed the ride in the Ford!
Hello Linda. When you showed your most recent gift box, you mentioned that you'd be selling the small closhes individually until you ran out. I've been looking for them on your online store ever since the day the video aired, and I haven't seen them yet. Am I just missing them, or did you decide not to sell them? I thought they were beautiful, and I'd really like to have one. Hopefully you'll see this message I looked over your website, and I didn't see any other way to contact you. Thanks alot!
Good morning Linda 🌸. Just wanted to comment how much I enjoy and look forward to your video’s every week. They are so full of the best information from your area and being Canadian, love to visit these areas. TFS every week 🪴 🌸 🌿
Lovely video today, as always. I don’t have a real garden, but I find that I get very excited about yours. Looking at the “invisible squares” in your back garden really piqued my interest. My guess is that those areas once served as the vegetable gardens for the kitchen. There are so many possibilities for creativity and planning on your property. Also, how can I purchase your vanilla? Willow was adorable. She is such a good girl. Have fun watching all of your new life pop up in the garden as Spring unfolds.
Love the sketches! The mountain road looked scary, though. The icing on the cake was the vintage truck. Beautifully painted with a color I haven't seen since the 60s.
This is one of your best videos ! I got chills when you described the muskets going off , the fog setting in etc . I absolutely believe that there were spirits amongst the Reenactment troops. Thank you for going to the trouble of getting up early and filming.
I enjoyed this video so much with sweet willow in it it has been raining a lot in Ontario Canada lot of dull days today has been one of those days Sunday but your voice and your video picked up my spirit thank you my friend
