This really is work of the highest standards Rob,....a wonderful look at Paddington, with superb camera work throughout....and the commentary....entertaining and informative as always.....Well done....Bob
Very neat video! Really enjoyable. That is quite an impressive station. We don't have many stations that magnificent in the US. The narration was excellent as well. Are there many steam excursions that run out of this station? Thank you for posting this video!
That's putting it lightly, the home I was born in is now a hotel, and as for the station well it is unrecognisable from what it used to look like. There used to be a fantastic deli on praed street to the left as you come out of the tube station owned by an Italian family, I used to get a salami roll every morning on my way to school. Those were the days.
Thanks for uploading this, videos like this are the next best thing to going there myself! I do like hanging around in busy termini and taking in the atmosphere.
Thanks for your comments about Paddington Station. I had a great time wandering around with my video camera. There are very few steam train excursions from Paddington Station but there are several across the country. You might like to try TORNADO UK in your search box. It's a beautiful steam locomotive that was built just a few years ago. You also might like to see THE GWILI in my collection of videos.
Three and a had thousand hits in one year! For me and my modest abilities this is most encouraging. Many thanks to those who supported this video. It is truly appreciated.
This is the last video that I made before becoming ill. It was a bit of a struggle but it seems that it was worth it. Since August 2013 the video has just passed five thousand hits today. Thanks for the support. Merry Christmas.
Thanks Rob! Enjoyed the video. We will be visiting London in April 2015 and will be in a hotel close to Paddington station! Really looking forward to our visit! By the way, I do hope your health will improve! Keep up the good work!
+Rob Catt Really enjoyed your video! Going to be taking the Paddington Express in Nov 2015 and what a wonderful help in preparation. Your creativity and effort much appreciated! Carol in NY
+Da MissyDog you mentioned you became ill. Are you recovered? Not wanting to be nosey. I came down with Rheumatoid Arthritis at age 43. Ruined my career plans but I manage a bit of travel now and then. I hope you are on the mend. And yes, looking forward to my trip :-)
+Da MissyDog Bones ache and creak a bit but I've recently invested in a mobility scooter and that has done wonders for my 'getting about'. Haven'y got around to making more videos yet. But I ain't dead yet!! Have a good time.
Hi Rob, I liked your video about Paddington Station. You visited London the same year I went. I stayed at the Dolphin Hotel just round the corner. I used to take the Paddington Undergound every single day for a week. Please enjoy my video about my staying in London if you like. Bye.
