Shouldn't have gone without a lifejacket, not only put your self at risk but potential others who would have to save you. Not to mention your a role model now, water safety isn't a joke. Should be teaching people good habits not bad. Usually like your videos I'm someone who works on the sea as Sailing Instructor no excuses. life Jacket are not expensive. I think the worst part you know this as you mentioned it in your video.

First off, loved the vid Casey but what I find weird is that you are always warning people and telling them not to break the law or do something stupid yet you do the exact opposite of that. Why? You just push the turds aside when you swim through it. Notta problem, mate! Actually, I have spent many hours on the Hudson and never seen a floating turd. I've spoken to crew rowers who say they have. I think it's a question of timing. If you're there every day, you're going to catch an overflow event where the volume is simply too great and they have to dump raw sewage into the river.

I'm gonna thumb this one down just for the lack of life jacket. The idea was cool but come on man, you've got to be more careful. Also, think about the people watching these vlogs. Not saying you have to be an angel but a life jacket is just basic 101 safety precaution.

Totally agree.....skateboarding thru red lights....not wearing a PFD. Fine if you are a single guy, but selfish on the part of having a wife and children. Very selfish..but great for ratings I suppose.
