Idk why but of all your videos this one around 22:00 made me feel like praying for you guys, even though it was a year ago. I've been caught on a very narrow downward facing rock when it started raining and I've never been so scared in my life. Thank goodness I was able to maintain my composure and think my way out of it. I used up a good bit of my luck quota that day. Here's praying you and your mates always come home 🙏🙏🙏
Love your videos and thank you for make them. We older guys can live again through your fishing adventures but as a fisherman and for the many generations to come maybe you can release the bigger ones as they are breeders and will keep the fish population healthy. Good fishing and be safe. Cheers!
I just came across your channel yesterday and I'm hooked. I'm so jealous right now. Your living my dream man. For now I will just have to enjoy life through your eyes. Thanks for sharing your great adventures with us. Take Care man Tim
This quarantine got you a sub. I have hours of time to kill. Thoroughly enjoying your beautiful country, colorful fish and sketchy as fuk fishing spots! Thanks for sharing. Well done sir!😁
After all the many different places in the UK, 🇬🇧 Southampton, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Whitby, Rye, Tintagel, and several more. But after all the times I’ve been to the UK and spent so much time there and also the many beautiful places Down-Under, in Australia, Yamba NSW, Esperance WA, Port Fairy VIC, Byron Bay NSW, Apollo Bay, VIC, Margaret River WA, Augusta WA, Harden-Murrumburrah NSW, Tennant Creek, Darwin, Alice Springs, Darwin all in the Northern Territories, All of these places I’ve been to time and again, I NEVER DID GET USED TO HOW THEY DRIVE ON THE WRONG-SIDE OF THE ROAD!!!!! LOL 😝 LOL 😝
Great content. Looks like towards two peoples bay or manypeaks? Wish I knew how to mount those hooks into the rocks and tie decent knots, opens up so many more opportunities. Great work
Amazing fishing and ditto on other comments about how sketchy the spots u guys fish. Curious what pound test braid and leader do you use in this scenario?
Love your adventures, and wondering if you if you ever tangle with snakes as you’re clambering round the rocks, and if so,what kind?I’m an ageing kayak fisher in N.Z.Cheers.👍
I caught them all this trip, he just caughg a swallowtail and got smoked by a big groper. I usually show his fish, sometimes he catches more than then me, every trip is different. He doesnt have a youtube channel
Yeah I’ve noticed you showed other peoples fish in the past, I just thought he might have jumped in on the youtube action. That’s just how it goes some days though, one bloke seems to get most of the bites, even though you can be standing side by side using the same kinda stuff & all. By the way, absolutely love the vids mate. You’ve given me some ideas on how to access to some of what I previously thought were unfishable ledges in my local area... I think I’ll get some abseiling/rock climbing lessons before I give it a go myself though haha. Safety first.
Not sure what you mean? If your talking about doing a poo I often do it close to the ocean so it can get washed away in a big swell and we carry a little toilet paper in a plastic bag. I have used branches and leaves a fair bit if I’ve forgotten paper 😂
We are using a normal lightweight frypan. I have a cast iron pan at home and its great but i wouldnt take it on hiking trips. Ill check out the pan you mentioned 👍
@@gidosfishingadventures Figured you might have been. Am gearing up to head up to Double Island Point near Rainbow Beach which is north of Noosa, S.E. Qld. Cliffs there, big Jewies. Hard to get fish up. Thinking of setting up my portaledge and fishing out of that. Sorted myself out for one of those flying gaffs. That was the key I have been looking for for ages. Noice. Love your work mate.
Thanks mate, that would be epic fishing from a portal edge, Ive thought about it myself but hooks, knifes and portaledge fabric could get messy? I don't own one thou so I don't know how tough the fabric is. Ive made a timber platform to fish from once thou, a lot of effort but good fun.
I sure as shit would if I wasn’t broke! The big issue with that would be safety though. You’d need a certain amount of rock fishing experience to do this kinda stuff & not a lot of people have that kinda experience. Specially not the average person who pays for a guided fishing trip.
I often get asked if I do tours. I don't know if id want to, sometimes doing what you love as a job can ruin your passion for it. and yeh insurance and all that stuff would be difficult to setup
Edited thumbnails always tell you if they know what they're doing or just do it for views/likes... come to nz, catch a reel fish, if you don't mind the pun
