We have plety on mosquitoes also but that is crazy...lots of Gators and some crocs, only place in the world to have both from what I understand. We don't have fishing like that though due to fishing pressure and enviromental damage. Those rock formations are spectacular and those tidal pools!

(Please look at the pictures of this one over here, in the States, how HUGE they get GIDO!!) “The Atlantic goliath grouper or itajara (Epinephelus itajara), also known as the jewfish, is a saltwater fish of the grouperfamily and one of the largest species of bony fish. The species can be found in the west ranging from northeastern Florida, south throughout the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea.” “And along South America to Brazil. In the east the species ranges West Africafrom Senegal to Cabinda. The species has been observed at depths ranging from 1 to 100 meters (3.28 to 328 feet).” “ The Atlantic goliath grouper can grow to lengths of 2.5 meters (8.2 feet) and weigh up to 363 kilograms (800 pounds). Actually got to 38/39. Not as hot as perth but hot enough. I used to work outdoors up there in 40 plus but I’m acclimatised to the cool weather down now and can’t handle the heat as much now 🌧
Another awesome video! Pacific fish seem tougher and stronger than Atlantic fish. I wander what species are the best eating? I'm getting the idea from the videos that blue groper are edible, but not at the top of the menu, they sure look like they're aggressive, strong and they seem to fight hard, and their colors are just beautiful.
Blue Groper are good but I’ve eaten a lot and they can be a tad tough if they are big. Dhufish, Breaksea cod, harlequin fish are my favourite. Actually nannygai or bight red fish are above them but very rarely caught off the rocks
I've been watching this channel for a couple of months now and have been wondering about the state of race relations in Australia. It turns out that it's spelled Dhufish. I'm so relieved.
“I had to look this one up GIDO, You call a DHUFISH. “ Fishus Yahudus , the Westralian jewfish, West Australian dhufish or West Australian pearl perch, is a species of fish in the family Glaucosomatidae, the pearl perches. It is native to the waters around Australia from Shark Bay, Western Australia, to the Archipelago of the Recherche at depths to 200 m (660 ft).” “This species can reach 122 cm (48 in) in length, though most do not exceed 80 cm (31 in). The greatest recorded weight for this species is 26 kg (57 lb). This species is important to local commercial fisheries and is also popular as a game fish.” en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glaucosoma_hebraicum
