Holy grinder I heard Jake earlier say he was gonna do the ep from home, but shout out Beebers for sticking it out in the studio! Legend behind the 1's and 2's
He’s pretty open about gummy use. That padres game was late on the east coast lol. Still killed the read off lmao this shit is really just a flow of consciousness for that guy 😂
You can’t take the 405 to SD! Haven’t you all sorted this out yet? Plouffe said, 405 eventually ends at the 5, then take 5 south. Come on now, boys, sort yourselves out.
I was at the Padres game. God it was so much fun. So loud, such an insane first few innings. Padres coming to "Slay the Dragons" and take it all this year
But heres no point in even bringing that up. Lots of teams would be effed without their best players. Just give credit to AJ Prellar and that's it. It's a way of minimizing what the Padres are doing and that's cheap.
miguel rojas’s legacy as a dodger will be hitting into a fucking game-ending triple play, taking the bat out of *shohei ohtani’s* hands, and NOT fucking tossing that ball to gavin lux, who was ALREADY STANDING AT SECOND BASE. he tried to do WAY TOO MUCH. knows he’s injured. knows how fast merrill is. doesn’t care, tries to do it all himself. i’m still disgusted by it.
True about adding Scott and Adam. Before the trade deadline, the Padres bullpen was a glaring weakness. Wandy Peralta gave up 6 with a 5 run lead against the Rockies, Yuki Matsui gave up a 3 run lead to the Royals. We got rid of Enyel Delos Santos for giving up way too many homers. Addressing the bullpen is one reason the Padres surged in the second half of the season.
Which proves how awful Trashman is as a GM. He could've traded for both. Instead, the Yankees traded for a guy that was DFAd and Leiter. AJ Peller is much better GM. For Soto, he got 2 starting pitchers and a starting catcher. Soto might end up with the Mets.
@@PadresEnjoyer This series is the Padres world series. You’re getting your shit kicked in by the Mets after this series if you don’t choke unfortunately.
I can’t believe the dodgers did all that just to go completely silent the rest of the game. It’s not like they only had 6 or 9 outs to get one run! They had like what, 5+ innings? It felt like the padres offense was so disturbed to see the lead gone they couldn’t recover either. Such a strange but exciting game.
But we weren’t lmao I think we only won 90+ games 1 time in that sprint, and we didn’t win the division in 11,13 or 14 dodgers have won the division every year but 21 for over a decade. Giants weren’t a super team, we had good pitching, decent defense, and timely hitting.
@@GdnationNY Wainwright is still too green. Needs to work on his transitions and what not. Smoltz has just had more time to perfect it so the explanations of certain situations flows so smoothly n clearly. Pairing Wainwright with AJ was smart though. No doubt AJ is helping him out alot.
This Dodger team is like a set of old times Christmas lights. If one bulb goes out the entire set turns off. By the time you figure out which bulb needs replacing it’s already June
You guys have the most exciting off seasons imaginable, 11 of 12 previous division titles, and a lead for 162 games this season. Life as a dodgers fan doesn’t sound that bad man come take a ride in these shoes! I’m an Angels fan!!
If the Mets get past the Phillies they will make it to the World Series starting rotation is Pitching lights out and playing great defense with great bats right now they are the scariest team right now
The coasts are producing some really fun and great baseball… everything that’s happening is what real fans of this game WANT to see!! Action and drama like basketball has nonstop 😂 DeF wouldn’t count LA out, but I gotta be real and acknowledge that San Diego made great trades, came outta the break hot and they’ve kept that going. I don’t know if I’m wrong but the vibes have been completely different since SoTo & Melvin left and Profar came back… Shiltd …whatever it is it’s working! They’re having FUN too. It’s so fun when your team is killing like that! Baseball is hot in the streets.. I’m hoping for LA/NYY cuz that would be crazy. OCTOBER!!
Im a Phillies fan so yesterday was tough but this playoff season has been fun and yesterday was no different... Watched most of the Padres game and the energy was insane! Phils can't be losing to the Mets though. Ridiculous.
44:29 every single one of Alonso’s homers have been outside up pitches have they not? Why do they keep throwing pitches to him there? If he couldn’t hit that spot earlier in the year he can now.
Roberts all but admitted they would wave the white flag after 6-1 only for king to let them right back in. Dodger fans have to be devastated they couldn’t get that last run to tie it.
Honest question, and no hate, Mookie ran in the field more than 3 feet after the home run, what is the rule?? Even though the ball was out of play, but he ran into the field off the baseline more than 3 feet??? What is the rule???
I SCREAMED INSIDE OF TARGET WHEN TEOSCAR HIT THE GRAND SLAM AND THERE WAS ONE OTHER PERSON THAT ACTUALLY DIDNT THIS I WAS CRAZY AND THE STRANGER GOES GRAND SLAM LA!!! INSIDE OF A BUSY TARGET IT WAS GREAT.
Trev saying that the padres went out and did it (in the sense that ur team can too) sounds just a little crazy to me considering it costed them Soto, not saying it’s bad by any means just that it wasn’t cheap either not many teams can afford that haul
34:06 Just to clear things up: That Lebron image is AI. If you aren't good at telling when something is AI, in the future, if you ever see a photo that is truly shocking or strange, assume it's fake until you find the source.
Manny did what he had to do perros!!! Get over it!!!! And it makes this channel money, it creates views so instead of criticizing him, thank him!!!! Why doesn’t anyone remember the Chase Utley slide that literally changed the MLB rules. (Dodger player)
He didn’t break the rules, but anyone who knows ball knows he intentionally got in the way. Same as breaking up a double play. Is it cheap? Maybe, but that’s Manny. Look up him yelling at A-Rod during a fly ball when he was with Baltimore. He’s always been that way.
@@dannyhaselroth1822 and he took a baseball to the shoulder and helmet for it. Dude put his body on the line for his team. How do you not respect it? Haha High IQ play from a high IQ player!
Ughhhhh such an amazing episode aside from the machado ball toss take. It’s so cringe when people say he threw the ball at Roberts. I’m not even a padres fan but the video shows it bounced like 3 times and was nowhere near going over the railing OR the net. Did he skip it a little harder than normal? Yea of course. But Roberts lying to make it sound worse and everyone crying this much is insane to me. If Ohtani did the same thing and the same exact result happened people wouldn’t say nearly the same stuff as with Manny
My question about the Machado baserunning situation is, shouldn’t a force be technically considered like a tag, like if Freddie can get that ball to Rojas it’s an automatic out just like a tag on a baserunner would be. It seems to me like they need to maybe reevaluate the wording of that rule at the least. Also, I’m not a Dodgers fan (go mariners) before anyone can jump on me for that and I think it was definitely a heads up play from Machado but it just seems like MLB’s rules should account for a situation like that
@@bigpictureguys8415 for sure, smart on Machado for knowing to get in the throwing window like that, in a situation like that but it still seems like, from a baseball purist/fans perspective at least, that it’s just a tiny bit cheap of a way to start a rally, or maybe heaps not the right word but ticky tacky way to get something going. Maybe that’s on Robert’s for not going out there to argue it though cause honestly, like even if interference doesn’t get called (which it probably wouldn’t) he slows down the game a little bit and allows Buehler to regroup just a tiny bit, we’ll never know though. Yanks v. Padres in the WS is going to be electric though lol
Dodger fans would you rather have been blown out today & not used your high leverage guys? Psychologically I don’t know which is worse. Getting blown out where you can just put it out of your mind or fight back then flatline offensively?
@@garrettokelly5357 Dodgers would have been out of that awful inning if Freddie just tags first instead of throwing and Rojas just flips the ball to Lux. That means Padres don’t score 6 there. Dodgers lead 1-0 and if Teoscar still hits a grand slam, Dodgers win 5-0.
Give manny credit for heads up base running and Merrill/bogarts for hustling!! I could say if king doesn’t hang a sweeper the Padres win that game easily too…
