Tuesday at Dodger Stadium was fun. The last two nights? Not so much. Los Angeles pummeled the Padres in Thursday's finale, and in doing so secured the NL West crown. Good takes overall in this video. Musgrove pitched one hell of a game last night. And I think the Dodger fans’ contempt for Machado is ridiculous. He gave his all for the Dodgers to win a WS in 2018 and he’s one hell of a player. The Dodgers were stupid in not offering him the money SD did. Like Reggie Jackson said, they don’t boo nobodies.

As a Dodgers fan, I’m fine with Manny. They were never going to pay him. But you have to understand that he dogged it in the 2018 WS. He hit a ball off the wall and watched it, thinking it was gone, and ended up with a long single. That play in particular is where a lot of the animosity comes from. It’s the WS and he’s still doing that thing where he jogs everything out. He didn’t give his all, that is where the resentment comes from.

Dodgers fan here. Major props to the Padres organization for the year they’re having and the excellent team/organization/ fanbase they’ve built. The Giants wish they had a fraction of the team/organization that the Padres have. No team wants to see the Padres standing in their way in the postseason. RIP Peter Seidler. His vision lives on.
