Unbelievable that the Dodgers had a great season, winning 106 games, and have to play a one game Wild Card elimination. Never before, never again. Giants, defying all the odds. What a magical team. I have to laugh at how stressful these last couple weeks must have been for Dodgers fans . . . as a Giants fan :)

I hope the Giants will be a consistent playoff contenders like the Dodgers have been since 2013. It'll make for better baseball in the NL West; hopefully the Padres will come back stronger 2022 and that the D-Backs and Rockies rebuild.

Congratulations to the Gnats from LA also. You guys won it and deserved it, it wasn't handed to you. I am proud of the Bums though. They won 39 of their last 50 games, but we only picked up one game on you guys in that time. Imagine that, .780 ball over 50 games and you can't catch the team in front of you. This was great for any baseball fans out there.

Yes it is a shame because I think Webb could hit some more HR's in future season, He has a decent swing but the DH is probably coming but the Giants don't really need to go out and get a DH, have plenty of hitters that they can rotate through, would like them to sign Bryant, good versatility and he can take over 3rd base in 2023 when Longoria is a free agent plus next near they could give Longoria more time a DH to keep him Fresh.

I can openly admit that the Dodgers have an amazing regular season team, but they need to carry that momentum into the postseason to make something count. As a Dodgers fan, the following pretty much sums up the Padres: The Madres are the youngest brother who think they’re on the same level as their older brothers the Dodgers and Giants. But no matter how hard they try, they’ll never get their seat at the table. Hope our teams play each other in the NLDS

Weird mindset to have. The Padres are a historically mediocre franchise and finally got a superstar and spent money to go for it. It didn't pan out because the entire pitching staff got injured/forgot how to pitch but I respect the effort. The media hyped them up because they were a team built to go to the postseason and they absolutely were that team for the first half of the year. We all forget how they had the best record in baseball for a while and owned the Dodgers in the first couple series. But they suffered an epic collapse, the likes of which we might've never seen. I mean their pitching staff for the 2nd half is Jake Arrieta, Vince Velasquez, Ryan Weathers, and Chris Paddack. They had NO chance to compete with that rotation and they didn't. No they aren't on the same level as the Giants or the Dodgers but they will be a competitive team once their pitching staff recovers next year.

They've just been an embarrassing mess ever since then because they have no real starting pitchers outside of Musgrove. It's not surprising they fell apart with the rotation they have. They might legitimately have the worst rotation in baseball right now.
