But especially to relax in the historic gardens of the city, starting from the Botanic Garden of Padua, a UNESCO world heritage site!
So, WHAT to see in Padua?
The Scrovegni Chapel cycle of frescoes is considered one of the greatest art masterpieces of the Italian and European 14th century painting. It is the most complete and best preserved cycle of frescoes painted by the Tuscan master Giotto.
The outside of the Basilica of Saint Anthony (1232) is a mix of Lombard, Tuscan and Byzantine styles.
Palazzo della Ragione was built in 1218 and the upper floor, called il Salone, is one of the largest medieval halls of the world.
Ghetto is marked by via Barbarigo, Manin, Canziano, Roma and Marsala. The area is easy to recognise thanks to its narrow streets and vertical buildings.
Duomo: Padua Cathedral, Basilica Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta
The design of the Padua Cathedral, started to be built in 1551) is sometimes attributed to Michelangelo, but in fact it was the work of Andrea della Valle and Agostino Righetto.
Prato della Valle is one of the biggest square in Europe (90.000 mq).

When we visited Padova twelve years ago, we saw the memorial to 9/11. Is it still there ? By the way, everyone we spoke with, in Italy, could not believe our last name was Padova. Our younger daughter has a friend who lives in Padova. He showed us around the city. We even had coffee at Pedrocchi Cafe'.

Hi Daniel, yes the monument is still there and Pedrocchi Caffè is a nice place. I confirm you Padova, as surname, is unusual. See you for my next video ;)

Try learning english before u actually present in ENGLISH. We are not all from US or UK but at least we dont have to bring our local accents when we speak english or other foreign languages.

I think rather than faking an accent we should go on about our natural accents.

On the other hand, I think that learning languages and trying to replicate their accent, even if with poor initial results, is an excellent mental exercise, but I understand and respect your point of view.

Dude he just has a very strong, maybe too strong lol, Italian accent, but it's beautiful because it screams "hi I'm from Italy". We never ask Africans to change their accent yet they are assumed to be mother tongue. Why be a copy of a nation when they understand you while you are revealing yourself for who and where you are from? This thing of masking one's own accent only makes sense if you are an international spy, so just cut it off Furthermore, Americans or other English speakers make truly embarrassing grammar and/or spelling mistakes in writing, sometimes they even confuse a word for another one (example: to complEment and to complIment), I mean... instead of being cringe with an Italian dad, why don't you go to English speakers who only speak one language (English) and can't even speak that one? Lol
